special 1: Movie Night

~I'm just gonna start doing this when I don't know what to write. If you guys read adoption day these were also in that story~

Jade's pov-

Tonight's movie night. And it a my turn to choose the film we see. All of our friends were put into the screening room of Dad's home. John and I would use this room to play Mario cart and watch YouTube videos. But dad tried to make us use it for actual movies. So we decided to have a movie night at least once a week. And tonight was the night. Everyone sat down in their seats. Roxy was in the front as always right next to Jane. Dirk and Jake were snuggled up in the back. Dave sat two rows behind Roxy, so he could put his feet on the chair in front of him. John moved the arms of two chairs and lowered the backs of the two seats in front of him so he could lay down and put his head in Dave's lap. Rose sat next to Jane, taking handfuls of popcorn from the bucket in her lap. Kanaya sat next Rose with her legs curled up underneath her. Sollux sat down next to Dave, eating a honey pop. Karkat sat next to Sollux as usual. I would sit next Karkat. And Feferi sat in front of me. Our seating arrangements almost made up a full house, considering the last two seats in the back were out of commission for upholstery work. There were only three seats vacant. Which were the two next to Feferi and the one next to Dirk. "What are we watching tonight, Jade?" John asked excitedly from Dave's lap. "I was thinking maybe a horror." We never watched a good horror that much anymore, considering that John got really bad nightmares, but Dave was around so it shouldn't be too bad. I picked up It knowing Jake was scared of clowns but slipped it back into the stand. That wasn't good enough. I picked out Annabelle, I had already seen it at lease four times but I knew the others had not. I put it in the DVD player and pressed play. I walked up to the third row and sat down next to Karkat. "What did you pick?" Dave asked. I smirked. "You'ok see."
