A Quagmire Quest Part 1 - V.B

When two Baudelaires have crushes on two different Quagmires.

The academy is nothing much.
It wasn't worth it to come here.
That's what I thought before I had met y/n.
That's what one of my siblings thought before they met another Quagmire.
Hi, I'm Violet Baudelaire and I'm different.
Let's start when my small family met a group of kids who were just like us.

"Nobody would want to sit next to you anyway, Carmelita!" a boy said getting annoyed with Carmelita continuously calling us "cakesniffers". I think it's some type of insult that the people in this school take very seriously. Two girls followed behind the boy and one had said, '' Don't worry, you can sit with us." It was quite reassuring to know that not everyone was laughing at us on our first day of school. The kids had to lead us to a table and sat down. Klaus, Sunny, and I took the seats right in front of them.
"I'm Duncan, this is my sister, Isadora and my sister, y/n. We're quadruplets." I sat confused for a second if they're quadruplets, where's the fourth one?
"Our brother Quigley died in a fire along with our parents." the girl, whose name I had just learned was y/n, told us. We knew how they felt since our parents have also perished in a terrible fire.
"I'm Violet, this is my sister, Sunny and my brother, Klaus," I said smiling, "We're also orphans."
"Nice to meet you," Duncan said to us.
I smiled gratefully knowing they were people to school understood exactly what we were going through.
They reveal to us that they had previously lived in the orphan shack where we are currently going to live and told us to be mindful, very clearly and constantly, of the crabs that are in there.
When I asked for us to reveal the stuff in our pockets Isadora and Klaus reveal that they have both found half of a spyglass that connected.
"We need to talk."

That night Violet found herself thinking of one of the quagmires that she had met today. Turns out she wasn't thinking about the one she would have expected to be thinking about in the beginning, she was thinking about one of the girls, y/n Quagmire.
She found herself unable to sleep like her little sister was able to do. All of a sudden, a faint voice was heard from the corner of the shack
"Violet?" the voice had said softly, trying not to awake Sunny.

"Yes, Klaus?" Violet asked her brother who decided to start the conversation when we were alone in the middle of the night. She turned to look him in the eyes, already guessing that this conversation was going to be very serious. Sunny was a very heavy sleeper so the inventor decided to turn on the lights knowing that it wouldn't bother her to the point where she would wake up (can't relate). Klaus sat up in his haystack, Violet quickly copied his actions so they could keep the conversation going quickly so they could be able to get enough sleep for school tomorrow.
