American Music Awards Part 2: A Night Completely Unexpected

It was exactly eleven o clock when we got back to my apartment.Michael waited for me in my bedroom while I changed out of my dress and into my nightgown.When I came back he was.playing with my puppy."You don't have a name for her yet do you." He asked as soon as I walked out.

" No" I said as I walked to the closet to hang my dress back up.

"Laylah."

I turned around."hmmm?"

" no her name should be Laylah, she looks like one."

" Don't Janet call me Laylah?" I asked

" Yes but when do you ever see her?"

"True." I said then sat down next to him, he had taken of his red and gold sequined jacket it sat on my chair in the corner of my room. I watched as he and Laylah played tug of war with her little rope for five minutes straight, until she got tired of playing and just snatched it out of Michaels and ran to the living room.

I laughed. Then turned to him"So what do you want to do" I asked still curious about what he said back at the awards

He smiled." Well, I was thinking since it's your birthday I can give you something."

I raised my eyebrow at him." And what is that exactly?"

He gave me another smile and walked over to my keyboard and sat down on the bench." Come and sit." He said.

I with out any comments I walked over to him and sat down next to him.

" Umm, I wrote this song for a while ago, and I wanted to wait until now before I sung it to you." Hesaid.

" okay." I said. He began playing the piano with a sweet tune that warmed my heart. He then started to sing a song with a loving tune to his voice that took my breath away.

Tears streamed down my face, I was speechless completely speechless. I hated crying in front of him, but I just couldn't hold it in."Why are you crying " I wanted to be sarcastic but my emotions got in the way.I was so overwhelmed.

I just shook my head." It's just so.....beautiful." I said.

"Its from my heart, baby "he said." You write songs for me all the time and they be straight from your heart, so when God sent me this song, I just knew that it was meant for you.

I managed to smile." You are the best man that any girl could ever have." I said , whipping away my tears."But the hot songs doesn't compare to Turn The Page, God sent that one to me and I sung it for you at the concert."

He gave me a confused look." I,thought you only sung One In A Million." He saidYou didn't see it?"

He shook his head.

I smiled"ill play it for you then." I said.

I played the music on my key board and as I got to the middle, Michael was filled with tears. When I finished he also had tears in his eyes.He looked at,me with such passion. He had desire in his eyes that I had never seen before. It was had a sexy touch to it, that made the hair on my neck stand up. I smiled at him and then he leanedin and kissed me passionately. I couldn't help but kiss him back, it always felt good to have those soft sexy lips against mine. I had know idea what happened because I was Soo caught in the moment, but the next thing I knew we were in my bed.He was kissing,me all over which he had never done before. I was pulling off the red undershirt that he had on, he pulled off my silk night gown. It wasn't long before I realized what we were about to do.I stopped and looked at him"What's the problem."

"Are you sure we're ready for this?" I askedHe gave me a smile." I be been waiting for this moment for years now." He said as he kissed my neck.

" I have to but what if-"

"Shhh, Liyah." He pressed his lips up against mine." We're meant to be together,,theres no doubt about it. I love you more then anything, and I don't want to ever in my life leave your side." He always knew the right thing to say to me. I pulled him in and kissed him harder then I ever had before. I closed my eyes and imagined us together for ever, something was telling me never to give up, never to let go ofhim, no matter whatthe case may be. I might have thought I knew I had found the one, but now I was positive. God had sent me an Angel,and i wasn't gonna live without him. I didn't care what anybody said.
