When I Say, I Love You...

Chapter 1

My phone was vibrating off my nightstand when I got out the bathroom. I walked over to it and looked at the name that was coming up. It was Michael, sending me a message. I smiled As I opened it up and began to read it:

Liyah meet me at my house I have something special planned.

I felt a huge smile stretch across my face. I slide opened the slide so I could text him back:

Alright, I'll be there. :)

I grabbed my purse and my car keys, and ran out of my room heading down stairs. I stopped in the kitchen where Susanne was reading a magazine and drinking some tea. I had went in to get a soda. She had excepted the fact that Michael and I were dating five months ago, but I can tell she's still skeptical about it, She always questions where we're going and what we're gonna do, and it's really irritating.

After i grabed a coke out the food pantry I turned around and headed out the kitchen.

"Hold it."She said.

I knew it was coming. I turned around and walked back towards the doorway."Yes. Susanne."I Huffed.

"Where are you going?" She asked, still looking down at her magazine.

"Over to Michael's."I said.

She looked up from her magazine."Were'nt you both hanging out yesterday?"

"No, that was Monday."

"Well still, you should put time into hanging out with your other friends. When was the last time you talked to Jo Anna?"

"I was with her yesterday and the day before that."

"What about Keith?"She asked.

"He's going on tour with me Susanne and besides we work together."

She looked at me. Then shrugged her shoulders."whatever, just be back in early. You know you get on the plane early tomorrow."

"i know that Susanne, I'm not a little girl anymore you know."I said smirking at her.

"Okay, Okay."She held her hands you in surrender."Your Right, Your nineteen now. I'm pretty sure you can take care of your own responsibilities."

"Yeah, Your right, I am."I nodded my head."I get down like that."

She let out a low chuckle."Tell Katherine I said hi, Okay."

"Okay."I said."Bye."

I walked out into the spring air. There was always something about the spring that made feel so happy. But this spring seemed a little happier then the usual ones. I don't know what it was but I knew I liked it and I hoped that all my springs would be like that.

I got in my black Mercedes and drove out of our circular driveway. It only took me twenty minutes to get there. I got out the car and and walked up the steps. I ranged the doorbell. It was getting dark out, I hated waiting out there when it got dark because I hated the dark.

Soon the door opened."Hey, Liyah!"he said. He smiled at me. I smiled back. Then I hugged him.

"So what's up?"i asked. As I let him take my purse and place it by the door.

He smiled."It's a surprise."He said.I could tell by the look in his beautiful chocolate brown eyes that it was gonna be special.

"Well, well, well look who we have here."I heard a voice say. I turned around and saw that it was Michael's father Joseph and his mother Katherine. The looked like they were going someplace special."How are you Aleah?"He asked.
