                          OUR CHANCE

                          When the two of us met each other,
We were surrounded by feast and laughter.
Then we realized we get along so well,
We had many stories for each other to tell.

                          Closer did the two of us get,
That we instantly knew if one is upset.
Then I started to feel a certain affection
When I looked into your eyes, I was smitten.

                          One day a friend of ours confessed his love for me
But I knew I cannot let it be.
Because this feeling I kept from you, 
Can't be kept anymore because it grew.

                          After you knew about my admirer, you changed. 
All your actions became really strange.
You talked as if I wasn't there,
And made me feel you no longer care.

                          I decided to fix things and talk to you,
But then you left and I don't have a clue.
Now something that hasn't even begun
For the two of us, the chance is gone.
