                                              For all those who experienced the painful goodbye that was never said and never explained.

                          LEFT ME HANGING

                          No reasons were explained,
No farewell words were said.
We had something special,
Guess it was all in my head.

                          The stories and jokes we shared,
Sweet messages we sent to each other
Those were the times I felt you cared.
Memories that left me bitter.

                          You made me believe in so many things;
Gave me false hope and empty promises.
Looking back, though little it still stings.
You stole my heart then left it in pieces.

                          You could have said goodbye
Instead you left me hanging.
All my life I'll wonder why
You left me holding on to nothing.
