I had a bunch of lovely feedback on the pregnancy series so I’ve decided to go ahead with the baby series no! :) xxx
**************
Ashton: You were sat in the back seat with Jessica, cooing over her as Ashton drove you all home. He kept taking his eyes off the road for a few seconds to look in the rear view mirror, a smile etching onto his face as he saw how happy you were. You had both waited a long time for this. You frowned as your little girl began fussing in her seat, kicking her tiny legs around to try and get out of her blankets. “How much longer Ash? She’s starting to get a little fussy.” He glanced into the mirror again, “A few more minutes babe. Promise.” Jessica quietened down just as the car pulled into the driveway and Ashton leapt out and practically ran around to your door, helping you as you eased out of the car since your body was still incredibly sore from your procedure. “You go inside and get comfortable on the couch. I’ll bring her in.” You nodded and walked the short distance to your front door while he leant into the car to detach the car seat and he took a moment or two to marvel over the tiny life he had created with you, running his long finger gently down her face, smiling as her gorgeous blue eyes opened. He really hoped that they would change to his eye colour but he knew that it could take months to do so. Sighing contentedly, he lifted the handle of the seat, carrying her towards the house, “Welcome home Jessie.”
Calum: "Well guys," Calum grinned, turning to the three of you in the back seat, "We’re home." You smiled softly and reached out to take his hand, "Let’s get them inside yeah and then we can cuddle with them." He nodded enthusiastically and hurried out of the car, opening the back door on the side that Noah was sat in and detached the seat. You weren’t as sore as you expected and you slid out after, just as your elderly neighbours came out of their house. "Oh!" Mrs Henderson exclaimed, spotting Calum carrying one of the twins, "Oh my, I didn’t know you had gone into labour!" You smiled as you came around the car carrying Andrew and you went to stand beside Calum. "Oh let me look at them!" she cooed, leaning over the wall slightly and Calum put the car seat on top of it, helping you do the same with the one you were carrying. "They’re absolutely adorable!" she gushed, giving Andrew’s stomach a small tickle. Calum smiled proudly, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Did everything go smoothly?" Mrs Henderson asked, looking back at you and Calum, who nodded. "She done so well," he said, looking down at you, "I’m very proud of her." The older woman opened her mouth to speak again but her husband placed his hand on her arm, "Dear, can’t you see that they’re both exhausted? Let them go in and rest." Calum let out a small laugh, "Once we’ve got them settled, you’re both more than welcome to come in and visit." After bidding them goodbye, you finally got into the house and placed both car seats down on the floor and Calum quickly wrapped his arms around you, "This is it. We’re finally a family."
Luke: You were finally home after a two day stay in hospital and you were relaxing while Luke had said he was putting Darren in his crib. Of course, that was a little bit of a lie. He would put him down, but first, he wanted to show his son around your house and he carried the small baby downstairs, tiptoeing past you since you were now fast asleep and into the kitchen, “All right, buddy. This is where your mum is going to prepare good for us when you’re older. I mean, I’ll cook sometimes, but let’s face it. I’m shi-sucky at cooking.” He looked down at his son as he began fussing, little hands hitting against his chest. “Okay, okay,” Luke whispered, “I get it. Daddy’s kept you awake long enough. You want to go to sleep.” He managed to get back upstairs without waking you and placed Darren in his crib, tucking the small blanket around him before leaning against the wall beside the crib, just watching as he drifted off to sleep, his small chest rising and falling with every breath. He was startled when your arms wrapped around his waist, your forehead resting against his back. The two of you didn’t say anything, just watched the little life you had created.
Michael: He was trying to get you to take a nap, but all you wanted to do was cuddle with Amy. “Are you sure you don’t want to sleep? (Y/N), you’ve got to be exhausted.” he mumbled, watching as you bent down to lift Amy from her car seat on the floor, cradling her to your chest. “No,” you smiled, “Come on Mikey. She’s so new. Come sit with us.” He smiled and sat down beside you, careful not to move the couch too much. “Can I hold her?” he asked quietly and you nodded, carefully handing her over to him. He cooed to her softly, “Such a pretty baby.” You smiled and lay your head on his shoulder. “Hey,” he said quietly, making you look up again, “I told you she’d look cute as heck in this outfit.” You rolled your eyes, running your finger over the 5SOS logo on the tiny onesie she was currently wearing, “Heck?” Nodding, he managed to hold Amy close to his chest while wrapping his arm around you, “I’m trying to cut back on swearing. You should too. We’re parents now, (Y/N).” You giggled, nudging his shoulder with yours gently, “I don’t swear.” He opened his mouth -probably to give some smart ass reply- but Amy started crying, causing the two of you to jump slightly. Michael sniffed the air and suddenly grimaced, “I think someone needs changed.” Smirking, you lay back on the couch, “I just gave birth to her. I think I deserve a break.” Rolling his eyes, he pushed himself up and headed towards the stairs, “You’re lucky I love you!”
