Ashton: “(Y/N)!” Ashton called from the bottom of the stairs, “That’s your mum here!” You pulled on your heels and lifted Jessica from her crib before descending the stairs. “There’s my beautiful baby!” she gushed, rushing forward to take Jessica from you. “Hello to you too,” you mumbled, allowing Ashton to help you with your coat, squeezing your arm lightly before opening the front door. “Well, you know where everything is.” you mumbled, leaning in to give Jessica a small kiss on her cheek. “Bye baby.” Ashton grinned, taking the baby from your mum to give her a hug. “Now you two enjoy yourselves and don’t worry about this little one.” your mum instructed, practically pushing you out the door. Once at the end of your driveway, Ashton wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pressing a kiss to your forehead, “She’ll be fine.” You nodded and toyed with a loose thread on your jacket, “I know but I can’t help but feel anxious.” Smiling to himself, he pulled you to a stop, “We’ll call your mum when we get to the restaurant. Okay? Then will you promise me that you’ll try and enjoy yourself?” You nodded and leant up to press a kiss to his jaw, “Promise.”
Calum: "Luke and Ashton?" you gaped, "You got Luke and Ashton to come over and look after our kids?" Calum smiled at you innocently and shrugged, "Everyone else was busy?" You sighed and looked at the twins who were sitting in their bouncy chairs and then at Luke and Ashton who were currently inspecting your breast pump, "I don’t know Cal. That doesn’t really give me peace of mind. Do they even know how to look after a baby, let alone two?" He sighed and placed his hand on your waist, "I swear. They were a last resort. If I could have gotten anyone else, I would’ve. You’ve been looking forward to this the whole week. Please don’t cancel on me." You looked towards Luke and Ashton who were now in the living room with the babies, the two of them pulling faces at them before sighing, "Fine. Just let me grab my shoes." He grinned at you and gave you a quick kiss. Once retrieving your shoes, you stopped outside of the living room when you heard Calum talking to his friends. "You better not mess this up for us. (Y/N)’s looked after the boy’s all this time and she deserves a break. If you need us, you have both our numbers." You cleared your throat, causing him to spin around with a smile on his face, "You ready?" You nodded, giving the twins a kiss goodbye and your two babysitters a stern glare before disappearing out the door.
Luke: You were worried that it’d be you that didn’t want to leave your little boy for the night, but you were shocked to see that Luke was the one who didn’t want to leave him. “Are you sure we have to go?” he asked, “I-I mean we could always just say I’m sick.” You rolled your eyes and took Darren from him, “No. It’s your award too. You know that the boys won’t feel right accepting it without you. Now go get a clean shirt on.” He pouted but did as you said, slumping up the stairs. “I don’t see why he’s so worried,” you tsked, turning to smile at Liz, “I mean, you’re looking after him.” She shrugged and took Darren from you, cooing softly as he fussed. Luke returned down the stairs a few minutes later, looking dapper in his suit that you had helped him pick out. He exhaled loudly before crouching down so he was the same height as Darren, “Now you be a good boy. Don’t cry too much.” He then kissed his blonde hair and turned to you, “Okay, let’s get this over with.” Rolling your eyes, you gave him a shove, kissing your little boy a few times before following Luke out to the car.
Michael: "This was really nice," you smiled at your husband from across the table, "It’s been nice having you all to myself for a little bit." He tried to return the smile but it didn’t reach his eyes. "What’s the matter?" you asked, leaning over the table to take his hand, "You’ve been funny all night." Shrugging, he looked up at you, "I…I know this is gonna sound weird, but I really just want to go home and be with Amy." You smiled slightly to yourself, "It is a little quiet without her, isn’t it? We could always, I dunno, get some dessert to go…" He grinned across the table at you before standing up, throwing some money down on the table. He came around to your side and helped you into your coat, "Let’s go." As you were walking down the street, your home being a twenty minute walk from the restaurant, you had to laugh at how eager Michael was to get home, having to pull him back by his hand to stop him running off without you. "It’s not weird that you want to be with her. I do too. I just hope your mum can forgive us for coming home at," you checked your watch, "Eight thirty." He laughed, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, "She’ll get over it."
