Sophie's POV
The school week flew by pretty fast and nothing really happened if I'm being totally honest.
Today's Friday and we're currently seated in the bleachers at Drew and Josh's football game.
They're obviously winning since our football team is probably one of the best in our state.
Yes, I said state.
I'm currently sitting next to Aly with her new boyfriend while eating popcorn and keeping my eyes on Drew.
There's something about him when he plays sports. He's so focused and care free when he's on the field but when he sings on stage, wow, he's an angel. He's graceful and even more focused when he sings. His YouTube videos are amazing. I'm always the first to like and comment on his videos when he uploads. I guess you could say that I'm his biggest fan.
Drew really appreciates my support. I'm probably one of his biggest supporters.
Drew always looks at the bleachers when he plays on the field. It's like he wants to know that I'm there to support him. I go to every single one of his football games even when I'm sick and even when I don't want to go. He appreciates the hell out of me for doing that.
I also cheer extremely loudly when Drew scores or whenever the team in general scores.
Drew scores the most goals.
Aly and her boyfriend make out with each other when I see Drew looking up at me. I smile knowing that he can see me and he smiles back. I also throw a little wave in there.
I see Josh on the other side of the field but he's not paying very much attention to the audience above.
After the game, I wait outside of the men's locker room for Drew. I usually get a few questions after the games like, "Are you two dating?" or "You're an extremely supportive girlfriend. Couldn't be me."
"Soph, you waited for me." Drew says coming out of the locker room and carrying his gear.
"Of course. Wanna go to the diner and eat some food?" I nudge at him.
"Nah, there's an after party at Noah's house and I wanted to see if you'd maybe want to come." He looks at me hoping i'll say yes.
"Sure, who else will be there?" I ask unsure.
"Josh, of course. Aly and.. what's his name can come too." He offers, forgetting Aly's boyfriend's name.
"His name is Caden." I correct.
"Yeah, whatever." He rolls his eyes and walks with me to his car.
Today I didn't drive. I made Aly drive me.
"Can I change? I mean, look at me! I look like a garbage bag." I look down at my trashy clothes.
"You look fine as always. It's not a party party, Soph. Come on, we don't want to be late." He tells me and we get in the car.
I'm wearing a crop top with jean shorts and checkered Vans. This isn't party attire.
The party isn't packed when we get there which is good in my opinion because I hate loud ass parties.
I gulp knowing that it's about to start growing in size.
"It's a small party, relax." Drew grabs my hand and intertwined it with his.
He squeezes my hand and we walk up to the front door.
He knows how bad my anxiety can get. I'm glad I have a friend like him to understand my anxiety problems.
