*awkward time jump*

Sophie's POV

It's now a new year and things are going smooth. I'm 17 now. My therapy sessions are actually working. I've recovered so much since the accident.

I still don't remember some events that happened before the accident but I do remember a good portion of them.

Andrew and I have been dating for almost three months now. I couldn't be more happier.

It's almost Valentine's Day which means I have to shop for gifts for Drew, Aly, Josh, my siblings, and my parents. It's tradition in East Lansing to buy gifts for your family and friends every holiday.

My father recently came home officially from Germany. He took a month off to recover from his deployment and it was truly a great surprise to have him home for Christmas.

I'm currently standing in line with Aly, Drew, and Josh at the movie theater. We decided on seeing the pre-release to The Lego Movie. We're such kids, I know.

Aly and I decided on the idea first. We just wanted to drag the boys along because we're legit evil.

We all decide on getting one huge bucket of popcorn, four slushees, and a pack of sugar straws. We're pretty fat as you can tell.

The movie ends and it's pretty much one of the best kid movies I've ever seen.

Josh drives us all over to the mall so we could shop for our Valentine's Day gifts.

"I'm going with Soph to Victoria's Secret. Who's coming?" Aly smirks at the two boys.

"I think it's time for us to go." Josh checks his imaginary watch.

"See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya." Aly waved the two boys off.

"I don't know what to get Brynn for Valentine's Day. Should I get her some sporty apparel from PINK?" Aly asks me in frustration.

"I would. Katie is the difficult one. She likes video games and stuff. I may just get her a Nintendo tee and call it a day." I sigh.

"I got my dad a new watch and I got my mom a scarf." Aly says proudly.

"Wow, Lys. I got my dad a coffee mug with a gift card and I got my mom a box of chocolates and a necklace. I have no idea what to get Matthew. I'll probably just wind up getting him a gift card. I know what I got you. I have no clue what to get Josh and Drew though." I pick up a red laced bra off one of the Victoria Secret tables.

"Josh wants those new bean boozled challenge jelly beans. He's been dying to try them." Aly tells me.

"Well, what are you getting him?" I question curiously.

"Probably some of those protein shake drink mixes he likes." She shrugs like it's nothing.

"The fact that you know more about him than I do scares me." I point out.

"It shouldn't." She says seriously.

"Whatever." I sing-song.

"Care to explain the red lacey bra in your hand?" Aly raises an eyebrow at me.

"Oh, I just thought it was cute." I blushed to myself.

"You're so planning to do the dirty with Drew on Valentine's Day, are you?" Aly raises her eyebrows up and down at me while smirking.

"You're disgusting, Aly." I roll my eyes at her and storm off the other way.

"What? We're horny teenagers!" She practically yells earning stares from older woman.

I cringe. Hard.

"Alyssa! Lower your voice." I whisper yell.

"What? They've done it before. Besides, it's 2014. It's totally normal for couples to fuck when they're teens." She says trying to make me feel better.

"You're not helping. Anyways, so what if I have sex with Drew? Don't you have sex with Caden?" I smirk at her.

"Well duh. I lost my virginity at like 14 to-." She stops mid sentence.

"Hello? Earth to Aly?" I wave my free hand in front of her face like a crazy person.

"Nevermind. Can we go pay? I want to go get some Auntie Anne's." She grins happily.

"Son of a bitch." I mutter to myself.

After we pay, we head over to Auntie Anne's and spot the boys across the way at Abercrombie & Fitch.

"I swear to fuck. If they are buying you or I Abercrombie apparel for Valentine's Day then I'm going to roast them." Aly clenches her fist and gets in line for her pretzel.

"I think they're shopping for themselves." I chuckle at her anger.

"They better be." She huffs.

"Order your damn pretzel." I shake my head before walking over to Abercrombie.

"What's up, fuckers?" I yell earning a jump from both boys.

"What the hell! You scared us." Josh puts his hand over his chest.

"Yeah yeah. What're you two up to?" I bat my eyelashes innocently.

"Shopping?" Josh says kind of like a question.

"For..?" I look between the two.

"Clothes?" Drew buds in.

"You both are helpless." I go to turn around but Drew wraps his arms around my waist.

"Hi, baby." He lays one hand on my shoulder.

"I want Chipotle for dinner." I pout.

"Okay, I can get you some." He giggles, looking down at me.

"Where's Aly?" Josh asks looking at us.

"Where else?" I chuckle still looking up at Drew.

"My girl is so beautiful." Drew pecks my lips.

I blush.

"Let's go get your Chipotle." Drew picks me up and puts me on his back.

"But first we need Aly." Josh jumps in.

"She'll figure it out." Drew laughs.

"But-."

"C'mon Joshua." Drew walks out of the store.
