Sophie's POV

I wake up the next morning in Andrew's bed, actually forgetting that I slept over last night.

I look over to my left and find Drew sleeping peacefully. Then I check the time on his alarm clock. 2 pm!

I shoot up and check my phone. 4 missed calls and 16 messages.

Shit.

I grab all of my clothes off the floor and jump into them like it's a race. I look back at Andrew sleeping and walk out of his room.

When I get downstairs, Justin is there with a crying Callie. I stop in my tracks.

"Is everything alright here?" I creep towards the living room.

"Yeah, she's just going through a lot. Thank you for checking." Justin gives me an appreciative smile.

"You have my number if you need anything." I nod towards Callie and she forces a smile upon her saddened face.

I leave out of their front door, closing the door behind me. I live down the block so i'll be fine with walking.

When I get home, nobody's there which is strange to me. I send a small text to my mom letting her know that I'm home and safe.

Sunday at work, Drew avoids making anything awkward which is a relief and a scare at the same time.

He never even brought up what happened two nights previously. It makes me think that it was a mistake in his eyes. Is he embarrassed by me?

Aly and Josh mostly chat with Drew the whole night while I was busy waiting on tables. I feel bad not telling Aly about losing my virginity but at the same time, she'll tell Josh who'll ask Drew if it's true and then it'll start stuff.

That night ends with Josh and I closing the restaurant together. Aly and Drew went home together which made me a little glad because I didn't want to close with Josh.

It's now Wednesday and the entire week so far, Drew has been acting totally normal around me and it's bugging me. I want to talk to him about what happened on Friday night but I feel awkward and dumb.

"It's 88 degrees out today. Who's coming over to come in my pool?" Josh asks us at our lunch table.

"I'm down. Can I invite my boyfriend?" Aly pouts looking up at Josh.

"Ugh fine." He sighs.

"I may not be able to go." I take a sip of my water.

"Why not?" Drew frowns.

"Mom." I roll my eyes.

"What happened this time?" Aly puts her hand on her head, slapping her forehead.

"I'm grounded because-." I stop knowing that I'm about to expose to both Aly and Josh that I slept over at Drew's house and then they'll ask questions.

"Because?" Josh looks at me waiting for an answer.

"Because I came home drunk." I lie.

"When was this even?" Aly looks at Josh and Drew.

Drew looks down.

"Yeah, you weren't drunk at Friday's party. I know that for a fact." Josh says, not buying my lie.

"Oh, Soph and I went to a party together on Saturday also and she got drunk so I drove her home." Drew shrugs.

I almost open my jaw in shock. He just covered for me.

"Aww, that's so nice of you, Drew. Good job for letting her get grounded." Aly slaps his head.

"Whatever." He mumbles into his hoodie.

"I'll work it out with my mom." I promise.

"It's so nice out today. She has to let you!" Aly lays her head on me.

"I said I'll see, Al." I sigh and look over at Drew who's staring at me.

"I'm inviting over Kylee." Josh stands up.

"Who's Kylee?" Drew gives him a disgusted look.

"This hot chick on the cheer team. Lys knows her." Josh grabs his backpack.

"Yeah, but I don't talk to her much." Alyssa states.

"I love Josh but sometimes he goes for too many girls." Drew complains.

"Just like you?" Lys snaps.

"Woah woah woah." I move over.

"What are you talking about?" Drew moves a hand through his curls.

"You should know." Aly silences the last part."

"I'm generally confused." I bud in.

"Me as well." Drew agrees.

"Whatever, I'm going to see my boyfriend. Bye bitches." She gets up and leaves.

"Why do our friends suck?" I hit my head on the table.

"You love them." Drew chuckles.

"Sometimes." I close my eyes.

"You okay?" He asks me.

"I'm pretty tired. Also, thanks for saving me with Aly and Josh." I thank him.

"You needed the saving and I know you'd do it for me anytime." He smiles.

"Want to walk to class together?" I offer.

"Yeah, I've missed you." He gets up along with me.

"Drew, I see you everyday." I giggle.

"No, we haven't walked together everyday this week so it's kind of a blessing." We walk out of the cafeteria.

"Aww, Drew." I put my arm around his as a joke.

"Get to class, Sophie." He pushes me into the classroom.

"You're a dork." I flip him off and walk into the classroom.

He follows me inside the empty classroom and grabs my hips and brings me close to him.

"Would you be mad if I kissed you right now?" He bites his lip.

I shake my head.

He smirks and kneels down at me so he could kiss me.

His lips feel soft and sweet against mine and I love it.

We pull away just as Aly and Josh walk into the classroom on their phones.

"Woah, are we interrupting something?" Josh stares between us.

Drew and I pull apart from our hug-kiss.

"No, not at all." I quickly say.

"Yeah, we're just friends, chill." Drew walks to his seat.

"Okay, no need to get defensive. I was just asking." Josh puts his hands up in defense.

"You guys would be a cute couple though." Lys looks up from her phone.

We all look at her.

"What?" She looks up innocently.

We shake our heads at that girl.

"Meanies." She sulks in her seat.

Maybe we would be a cute couple..
