"Do you want something to drink?" I asked. He can be rude all he wants but I am going to be nice, it's what I do.
"No." He said as he walked through the hallway to the living room like he owned the place. What is this guys problem, seriously?
I plopped down on the couch next to him and started to flip channels. I landed on Criminal Minds and immediately left it there. I glanced over at Luke to find him looking at me as well. Unlike a normal person he kept looking and a beautiful smirk spread across his face. I blushed and looked back at the tv.
"NO YOU IDIOT ITS A TRAP!!" I screamed at the T.V. I've seen this episode numerous times and know exactly what happens. Not that it keeps me from yelling at the screen every time.
"You know they can't hear you right?" Luke asked smiling slightly. Before I got to answer the door bell rang through the house.
I hopped off the couch and ran to the door, knowing it was Kayla.
"KAYLA!" I screamed, "LENA!" We hugged each other then I let her inside. On our way to the living room she informed me that there were three extremely hot guys moving in across the street. I was about to tell her that I knew but she cut me off when she saw Luke standing in the living room.
"Lena! How dare you not tell me that you had a hot guy in your house!" She whisper-screamed.
"Oh by the way there are actually four guys moving in across the street. This one's name is Luke, Luke this is Kayla." I introduced them.
"You said that the guys were here right?" He asked, not even saying hello. Jesus, he is so cold. Well he's hot, but cold on the inside.
"Uh, yah." Kayla said shocked by his rudeness. Luke cooly let himself out and walked across the street.
"DICK!" You see, Kayla is the one who isn't afraid to say whats on her mind, it's a great strength but it comes with a weakness. She doesn't know how to shut up sometimes. That's why we are so close, we both are loud and straight forward, more so Kayla but still.
I laughed and led her upstairs to my room. We both got dressed to go outside. Kayla wore blue skinny jeans, a white sweater, pastel pink scarf, and matching pink Hunter rain boots. I was sporting black skinny jeans, a nirvana sweater, black timberland boots, and a baby blue beanie. We headed outside and began building a snowman. Don't judge us! We are weird and we love it.
As we finished the final touches I picked up a bit of snow and packed it into a tight ball. I reached my arm back as she looked up at me.
"Lena Rose, don't you dare!" She pointed at me as she slowly started to back away. I flung the snowball at her and it hit her right in the chest. I smiled at her innocently as she picked up her own ball. We went back and forth throwing snowballs at each other until I saw her pack some ice into one.
"Kayla! That's cheating." Before she could retort I ran. All the way across the lawn, across the street and into Luke's yard, bumping into a really cute curly headed boy.
"Whoah, hello." He said giggling.
"Hey I'm Lena, hide me!" I ducked behind him and used him as a shield.
"Now look who is cheating." Kayla sang. There was silence and then the curly headed boy turned around and grabbed my collar, catching me by surprise. I felt the cold of snow going down my shirt and screamed. I jumped around and shook my shirt trying to rid it of the freezing snow.
Everybody looked shocked and kinda scared as I gave him one of my signature glares, except for Luke he was on the porch laughing like a lunatic.
"Oh so you think that was funny Hemmings?" I asked as I walked toward him, snowball in hand behind my back. I had gotten right up to him when he finally caught his breath to answer.
"That was fucking hysterical! You should have seen your face!" I stepped forward and pulled at the belt loop on his pants bringing him closer. He looked at me shocked but his eyes got a shade darker.
"And how would you like it if I did it to you?"
"Oh princess, you'd never get the chance to." He started to lean down but before our lips could touch I smashed to snow on his head. I laughed then ran once I saw his face.
"Oh you are gunna get it!" All four boys joined in on our now war. We played for a few more minuets before it got really cold, really fast.
"Cocoa at our place!" The guy with red hair said. We all dropped the snowballs in our hands and ran for the door.
We took off our shoes and hats and walked towards what I assumed was the kitchen. They had one of those round corner booths where we all sat to drink our hot chocolate. Luke was on my right and Kayla to my left. I finally figured out the curly haired one's name was Ashton, the red haired one is Michael, and the Asian looking one (even though he isn't Asian) is Calum.
I was laughing at one of Ashton's jokes when I felt a hand on my thigh and jumped, hitting the table with my other knee. Everyone stopped and stared at me.
"You alright there." Kayla asked. I looked around to see the other boys avoiding my gaze, they knew exactly what Luke did and they seemed embarrassed for me.
"Yep just peachy." I said too fast and took a sip of my drink.
Luke's hand was still on my thigh when the conversations started back up again. I swiped his hand off but he replaced it only higher this time. Again I swiped it off and again it was back on my thigh even higher than before. I caught on to his little game so I decided to play my own. I crossed my legs and left his hand there. I placed my hand on his thigh, higher than his was. Instead of waiting for him to brush my hand away I moved my hand slowly up. As I got closer to his crotch he tensed up and grabbed my hand.
Luke abruptly got up and marched up the stairs. The guys simply chuckled and began talking again.
"What is his problem?" I ask interrupting their story. If anybody would know it would be his three best friends.
"He has his reasons." Calum said.
"For being an ass? Sure he does." I said sarcastically.
