"Hey... look I'm really sorry. but I promised Mina that I'd take her to the dance, you k-know as friends so that I could show her around more since she's new and doesn't wanna go alone." Kai spoke.
Haru immediately pulled her hand out of Kai's hand and stared at his face annoyed.
"Seriously? What about me?" Haru asked.
"You have Taehyun and Beomgyu hyung." Kai responded.
"Well doesn't Mina have any other friends?" Haru asked.
"Well except for Beomgyu and Taehyun and me... no"
"Stop- she's not my friend." Beomgyu and Taehyun raises their hands defensively.
"Look, it's just one night. That's no big deal right?" Kai asked again annoying Haru.
Soobin and Yeonjun looked at each other wide eyed as Taehyun and Beomgyu gulped.
You do not want to set off Haru's anger. Yes she had her temper under control but sometimes it got out of hand and she let her anger fly free.
"What if I want to go with you?" She asked trying to keep her cool.
"Then I'm saying No. because I already promised someone else..." Kai boldly spoke. This was it.
Yeonjun stood up as he shoved Kai away from Haru who frowned at Yeonjun.
"That's IT, Kai. You can't treat Haru like that." Yeonjun clamored in front of her as Soobin moved past him and helped Kai up.
"Hey now, he may be acting like a butthead, but that doesn't mean that we physically do anything.." he told Yeonjun who agreed with him and apologized to Kai
"I don't get why you're making such a big deal.... it's just one night" Kai asked as he walked away from all of them into his room.
Haru looked at his door her eyes forming a sad curve as she sighed in defeat.
"What the heck happened to him over the past week?" She asked as Beomgyu proceeded to hug her before volunteering to stay the night with her in her dorm.
"Besties forever right?" He asked as he held out his pinkie and Haru smiled slightly as she entangled her pinkie with his.
"Right.." Haru muttered.
