The day finally came with the game and the callbacks. Grace and her friends from band were talking about the game as they sat at their desks. Suddenly, Grace's eyes were covered and she heard someone say, "A music note cake." Her eyes were uncovered and she gasped at the sight of the eight note cake. She turned to Zeke and said to him, hugging him then said to the rest of the basketball team, "Aw, thanks, Zeke. We have something for you guys too." Grace and her friends from band walked over to a flip board, showing a music sheet. Troy was confused and said, "Wow, it's a music sheet......." Grace laughed and flipped the board with a little help from Gabriella, Taylor, and the band kids. The other side said 'Good luck, Wildcats!" Troy nodded in understanding and said, "Oh!" Grace laughed and her friends began to throw stuffed balls at the basketball team, then was tackled by her twin brother, which caused her to shriek.
Grace watched as Chad and Andrew went to go get Sharpay and Ryan to show their shirts that were underneath their red jumpsuits for basketball. Grace smiled as the basketball team began to say what was on their shirts and giggled at Troy's. Sharpay giggled, happy that she was being recognized. Ms. Darbus walked into the room and said, noticing the basketball team's shirts, "Well, it seems that we Wildcats are in for some afternoon." Poor Ryan was left on still trying to figure out what the shirt said. Grace walked over to Ryan and said to him, "Ryan, it says 'Go Drama Club'." Ryan turned to Grace and replied, "Thanks and I'm sorry about what happened with me and my sister. She's just.........." Grace said, summing it up, "Over-bearing? Over-controlling?" Ryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, that. I'm really sorry, Grace, and I hope that you can forgive me." Grace smiled and said, "I'll think on it."
