You stood staring at the door for almost half an hour after he stormed out, processing all the information that was given to you.
He wasn't cheating, he was just trying to do something special.
You looked at the gifts, and some of them were perfume, the scents you smelled on him that night.
You started feeling guiltier as you trudged around the house, seeing portraits, and gifts wrapped. Never in your life did you think you'd stoop so low, especially when it came to Shawn.
You picked up your phone and called him half a dozen times, sent a thousand texts, but they all were ignored. You really fucked up.

You know, you really had no right to talk that way to Shawn. You might've been upset and he shouldn't have accused you of cheating, and you him, but bringing up a topic you don't understand and hurting him, using it against him? I'm honestly disappointed and never thought you'd break him like, let alone like this.
You felt your tears fall freely, you knew you shouldn't have said that, you knew you should've listened and talked to him. Yes, you were hurt at the time, yes you didn't understand what was going on, but you still should've listened to what he had to say.
You wiped away your tears, walked to your bedroom and laid on his side of the bed, hugging his pillow close to your chest, inhaling his scent, staring at the box and paper that was on the nightstand.
You didn't deserve to wear that ring, you didn't deserve to hear whatever beautiful speech he had written for you, you didn't deserve to look at the ring.
This was the closest thing you've gotten to him in so long, and what's sad that this was actually the closest thing you've gotten to him, yet he still wasn't here.
Funny how this night was supposed to be all about you two becoming more than what you already were, but might be the end to what you have.
Waking up the next morning, your head was in a whole lot of pain because of all the crying. You grabbed your blanket and walked around the condo, looking for any sign of Shawn, any sign that might show that he came back, even if it was just to get his things.
Nothing.
You went back to your room and grabbed your phone, your heart leaping when you saw a text from Shawn, but there was nothing said in the text, just a location. Frowning, you changed into a hoodie and sent him a text asking if he wanted you to meet him there, but he just left you on read.
Guess that was his way of saying yes.
The location he sent you was an hour and a half away from the city, and you didn't hesitate, you got into the car, and sped to his location, away from the city.
Your mind swarmed with every memory you had of him, fearing that this might be your final moment together.
Your first kiss....
"I had an amazing night, again." You giggled as he walked you to your door
"Me too," He smiled, looking at you with a look in his eye that made you blush and look to your shoes
"C'mon, don't do that." He said, tilting your chin up, a strand of hair falling on your face
He slowly pulled that strand behind your ear, his palm caressing your face as he looked down to your lips, then back up into your eyes, asking for permission.
You let out a shaky breath and nodded once, and that was all it took for him to lean in and capture your lips with his, finally feeling his soft plump lips against yours.
