"Straighten that leg" I warn before lifting my water bottle and taking a long sip as I keep my eyes focused on the dancing eight year old. A week past ever since the gender reveal and things have slowly started settling down. We've been unpacking a few of our things and our house is finally looking like a proper home instead of looking empty and abandoned.

Elli still hasn't gotten off of her high from getting a little sister, people would think that it would be annoying after a while but I find it entertaining, plus I use all her energy with her dancing. Which is why we're currently in her new dancing room practising her various dances. There's only one week left before the big day and as stressful as that is Elli was ready.

We've rehearsed every dances in the building where they would perform and so far they look amazing. For our last week we're going to be working on cleaning all the pieces and making sure nothing major could happen and end up ruining the show. Every morning they'd rehearse a few dances and later on in the evening they'd do the other half.

During their 4 hour lunch break Elli and I would go home and eat along with Josh and I'd make her work on her technique. To me, technique is everything, it's what you fall back on when you don't have any more inspiration. That's rare for me, I'm always inspired by everything that happens in my life. However that saying reminded me that ballet is like telling a story, if you don't have the proper ballet technique you're practically telling a bad story, you're missing out on the details which could be incredibly important to your story.

Although tonight we aren't having rehearsal because the stage is getting decorated, they're adding all the extra flyers and banners up on the wall and testing out other props.

"Gorgeous" I grin as I watch her push her leg further down, showing off her incredible flexibility. "Good now slowly bring your leg back down, keep your knee nice and locked in" she does as I say making a wide smile pull at my lips, sometimes I forget that she's only 8. Her technique is way beyond her age, she's truly a dance prodigy.

"Awesome" I high five her, "Do you want to take a break?" She shrugs "Can we run through my dances?" She asks hopefully, "I want to make sure everything I do is good" I chuckle

"Awesome" I high five her, "Do you want to take a break?" She shrugs "Can we run through my dances?" She asks hopefully, "I want to make sure everything I do is good" I chuckle. Elli is a little perfectionist, she wants everything to be done correctly, she's much like me in that sense. It can be something good when you're a hard working and what you need to do has to be perfect but when you're only 8 years old it can get in the way of just being a child and having fun.

"We'll run through your dances tomorrow sweetheart" she pouts "Elli, I've already told you, everything you're doing is perfect" I assure her.

"But what if I mess up? What if I'm not doing everything correctly? What if my technique isn't right ? Or wh-" she starts rambling making my eyes widen. She's far too stressed about all this, I know Broadway is something huge but the little blonde girl is already incredibly amazing. She doesn't need to stress herself out this much.

"Wow, wow, wow" I cut her off, "Elli baby take a deep breath" she inhales deeply "Good, now I've already told you so many times that you're doing everything perfectly, there's no need to overwork yourself sweetheart. You trust me right?" She nods "Good, now trust my words when I say that everything will be fine" she smiles and wraps her arms around me.

"Thanks mommy" my heart flutters and I hug her back, "Anything for my baby girl" I mutter kissing the top of her head. "You don't have to ever be this stressed okay?" I say moving to look at her, "Leave the stressing to me, when I say you've done everything beautifully, which you always do because you're amazing" I gush "Trust me okay? No need to get your cute self all worked up" she nods and hugs me again.

"I love you mommy" she whispers making my heart swell, "I love you too baby girl".

"Now how about we do something fun?" I suggest pulling away, "Like what?" She asks quirking her brows.

"Like going shopping for baby stuff?" Her eyes widen to the size of saucer and her mouth drops open, I laugh at her reaction. "Really?" She asks already jumping in excitement, "Mhm" I hum "Let's go get baby sister some outfits and a few things to decorate her room" she squeals and pulls me in for another hug.

"You're gonna have to take a shower first before we leave and I'll ask daddy to come with us" she nods vigorously and sits on the floor to untie her pointers shoes before running to her room.

I thought Josh would be like every normal guy who would practically pass out when he sees how much stuff his girlfriend is buying. I don't know how Josh can be fine with all the things Elli and I are throwing inside of the cart, if I was him I would've already said it was enough for today, but he didn't say one word, instead he's helping us out with opinions and thoughts. What kind of guy is he and how lucky was I to have found him?

Elli and I already decided on the theme for baby sister's room, yep that's what we call the baby for now, baby sister. Her room is already painted in a light grey and a soft baby pink which is absolutely perfect and goes incredibly well with the rose theme Elli and I wanted. Having Elli by my side during this pregnancy is something I never thought would be helpful, especially when I was younger and she wasn't my daughter. Other than Josh, she's the only one keeping me calm a about having a baby, she isn't doing anything on purpose but from all the time I've spent with her, took care of her, loved her. It gave me a sort of preparation to be a mother yet again.

All I have to do is look at her and I'm reminded that no matter what, I'll have another daughter to love just as much. That there's no reason to be scare because I can do this.

"You enjoying yourself?" Josh asks wrapping his arms around my waist as I keep pushing the cart, following Elli who's rushing towards the baby clothes once again, she couldn't get over how small the outfits were and I found it adorable.

"Yeah" I nod stopping the cart and leaning against him, "Thanks for coming with us and letting us buy all this" he kisses my cheek and lays his head on my shoulder. "Anything to keep my girls happy" he says softly making my heart skip a beat, I still couldn't believe that are family is going to consist of 3 girls, poor Josh.

"I love you, you know that right?" I say turning my head to look at him "I know" he quips pecking my lips, "And I love you way more" he smirks making me roll my eyes. "Sure you do" I say sarcastically.

"I do" he insists pecking my lips once more "You've completed Elli and I, you're giving us a sweet little angel who's going to be extremely loved. You've given us love" he caresses my cheek, gazing into my eyes lovingly.

"So have you, you've given me everything I've ever wanted, a family" this time I lean forwards and kiss him. Unlike his little pecks, my lips move against his in a soft slow kiss.

"Mommy look!" Elli's voice causes us to pull apart, I turn to look at her and find her holding up cute tiny little dresses. My face softens and my lips part, "Oh my goodness" I gasp moving towards her "Those are so cute" I gush taking them from her and imagining a tiny little baby fitting these, my tiny little daughter.

"Josh" I whine holding them up so he can see, "You can get them" he smiles making me squeal and rush towards him. "You're the best boyfriend ever!" I gush cupping his face and pressing my lips back on his.
