Your precious son's funeral is today.
You and Ethon take the short, yet emotionally exhausting drive from Spencer and Nika's house to First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen. You closely follow the black Cadillac funeral car that they are in, with Spencer's corpse inside. Once you and Ethon arrive, you find a convenient parking spot, head inside, and sit up front.
Beaudry, Brad, Quinton, Jeremy, Gordon, and Porter all bring the casket inside and set it on the stage. Beaudry brings in at least five bouquets of flowers out of the funeral car, and sets them on and beside the casket.
Brad hands out the programs to everyone who walks in.
Beaudry's wife Khloey has the printed out obituary in her hand. She chokes up every time she reads it. The clock strikes one, and everyone is in their seats. Khloey walks up, and speaks with a lump in her throat as she reads Spencer's obituary out loud.
"Spencer Kenneth Venston was born in Bellevue, Washington on Thursday January 26th, 1984 at 11:07 PM to his parents Ethon and Kayla Venston.

Spencer would take time off of work to chase his kids to any football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, baseball, and tennis events; along with concerts so he could be there with Nika to cheer them on.
Spencer and his family moved to Aberdeen, Washington in the summer of 2014 where he lived the rest of his life, working as a phone geek for the last six years.
Spencer was involved in a tragic car accident on June 26th, 2020 after he was at a back to back softball and baseball match as a charity event for a friend. After being in the intensive care unit for ten days, Spencer passed away while surrounded by many of his loved ones on Tuesday July 7th, 2020 at around 1:25 PM.

Spencer was a highly devoted husband and father, dedicated coworker, relentless adventure seeker, lover, fighter, and loyal friend. If you want to honor Spencer, love like your heart was never broken, live like you're in Heaven on Earth, and cherish all of life's little moments."
Keith walks onto the stage and speaks the opening prayer. "Heavenly Father, we thank you for this time of gathering to celebrate Spencer Venston, and his life on Earth. For every tear shed, please comfort every single heart who mourns in Jesus' name we pray, amen."
"Amen," everyone else whispers.
Ethon walks up to the stage after Keith walks away, and sits down next to his wife Lexington.
