Almir P.O.V.
I leaned onto the wall, gazing the beauty before me through the large windows. Exhaling , turning around on hearing the footsteps of my brother I tensed. Trying hard to compose myself and to be someone he is more pleased with. Carrying the love of his life in his arms, smiling while looking at her on the other hand, she was hiding her face in his chest. I smiled too.
He never smiled.
I had everything in my life except for his acceptance and look at this girl who is my sister in law. He accepted him in just a few minutes. I want to be a person he is proud of.
His eyes land on me and soon his smile disappeared. I want to meet the person he has come to love.
Maybe, someone in my family will accept me as who I am.
I follow my brother to the dinning room. We never ate together. Well, his wife has made some changes in him. Good changes may I add. I take a chair out from him so he can lay her on it.
"Don't touch me again." she whispered while turning her face which was red by now. "You have to climb up the stairs to reach our room then." he said. She eyed him and then looked away noticing me. I smiled. She was indeed beautiful.
"I am Almir." I said introducing myself.
Jana P.O.V.
I look at the boy's back. He must be around 17 or 18. He reminds me of myself. I was like him, when I thought my family is the end of the world for me. But life teaches you lessons and believe me we never forget these lessons. I felt a little hurt because something tells me he is suffering from the same problem I did.
I was brought back by a cheerful voice. "Good morning!" a feminine voice said, I turn my attention to where the voice was being generated. An old women came in my view. She had white and grey hair tied in a proper bun. Her wrinkles became prominent as she smiled. She wore decent clothing. Everything together, her personality seemed cozy and comfortable like a grand parents'. She walked towards me and patted my shoulder. "Welcome home dear, I am happy to welcome you in this house as Arish's wife." she said in a gentle voice.
I simply nodded making her taken a step back. Looking up to see her a little shocked at my gesture. I am not being rude it's just I am not good with new people. But Arish is an exception, I will be very good in everything which makes his life more miserable. I said mentally taking a note.
I felt something press my foot. A gasp escaped my lips as my foot started hurting. I look at Arish as he stepped on my foot and was still pressing it. He urged me to give the old woman a sweet gesture as he stared at me. Bitting my lower lip, to control my pain. "Good Morning, thank you." I faked a smile. She relaxed and sat on the chair beside me.
So much of making his life miserable. He is making my life miserable.
13) He has fun making other's lives miserable.
He removed his shoe from my foot as I closed my eyes in attempt of reducing the pain. I looked up at him. Weak! He makes me feel weak. He places all the weakness I have in a plate and presents to me with a smile.
Looking down I played with my fingers. "There is no reason to be nervous, I know you are new here but this is your home dear. Our home." the old lady softly said placing a hand on my shoulder and giving me a heartful smile.
If only my mom could say goodbye to me as sweetly as this woman is welcoming me. I give her a half smile as two maids enter placing breakfast in front of us. All my emotions get bottled up in my throat as it became hard to speak but knowing myself nothing will make me cry.
