" I don't know what kind of father I am going to be." he exclaimed looking longingly into the distance. I placed my hand over his "If you ask me, a very careful one." he chuckled making me smile.

I didn't want to think about this first but then I realized this is such a beautiful blessing. We all deserve some good after such bad times. I wasn't ready to be a mother but I will make sure to get a lot of help from these men.

Shehriyar came running in our room. ''Arish'' he stuttered.

"Is everything okay?" I stepped towards him. While his eyes were filled with fear making me nervous.

I looked back at Arish as his expressions changed. "What happened? Tell me! Is everything okay?" I asked.

" Dear old dad is home!" Arish spat with such hatred.

"You mean he is alive?" I was shocked. They never mention their father. I just assumed he died.

" Oh believe me! He is alive." Arish said.

"Sherry can you leave us alone?" I asked and he left the room. I stepped closer to Arish and cupped his face making him look into my eyes.

" Arish? Are you Okay?" I asked but he seemed to be lost in his memories.

"Arish?" I yelled yet he was lost somewhere else. I stepped closer and kissed him after a while he responded back.

"Promise me!" He demanded. " Promise me you will never leave me. Never!"

I looked in his eyes burning with passion yet hidding a storm of fear.

"I will never leave you. I promise." I exclaimed. " Do you want to go and meet him?" I dared to ask .

" Wouldn't miss this for anything." He claimed now thankfully calmed.

I nodded and we headed downstairs. He was in the living room as Shehriyar came towards me.

" No! This is not a good idea." He whispered and received a dead glare from Arish.

So this was Arish's father. He had black hair and grey hair. His face had some wrinkles. But he looked more like Shehriyar than Arish. He stood up and came towards me making me step back.

" You must be Arish's wife I suppose. Jana was it?" He spoke whereas I only nodded.

" And what may I suppose brought you here?" Arish asked.

" Of course the good news son." He replied cheerfully.

"What good news?" Arish asked.

" That I am going to be a grandfather soon." He smiled.

Mr. Malik was nothing like Arish. His aura was filled with such darkness you could feel it a mile away.

" You heard the news. Congratulations! Now head back where you came from."

" I am here to stay Son. This is my home, if you forgot."

" Welcome home! It is a pleasure to meet you. You must be tired please have some rest and we will meet again later. Thank you." I quickly spoke before Arish had a chance to say anything.

He nodded and left.

"Why did you-" I cut Arish off.

"He has his reasons to be here. And I know why you are angry but please don't fight with him."

"You don't know him and I won't let him anywhere near you or our child." He spoke angrily.
