It was our last day in Paris. I can't believe I am going to say that he isn't as bad as he seems to be. I mean at first I hated everything about him. But in the past two months if I have learned something it is to never judge someone too quickly.
I gasped as he snaked his arms around my waist.
" You have to stop doing that." I sighed relaxing a bit.
"And you have to stop worrying about stuff I have to do. It's my job to protect you so dear wife have a little bit trust in me."
" I am trying to." I replied
" I have a suprise for you."
" What suprise?" I asked.
" It won't be a surprise if I told you about it."
Since he told me about his suprise he was acting like a gentleman. He actually managed to impress me. He opened and closed the car door for me , which was not very necessary but that coming from Arish was something definitely amusing.
Strange indeed .Something was definitely off.
The rest of the day he listened to everything I had to say quietly. When we returned to the house it was already very late. But still he made us tea. The tea may I say was amazing it left me wondering if he has hidden cooking skills. He chose a movie and we sat to watch it . I stiffened as he placed his head in my neck.
" Relax ! I won't harm you." He said .
"For your dear kind information you are the only one who can harm me here."
He chuckled ."You don't know me that well wife."
I was bored by the movie as I drifted off to sleep .
"Sleepy?" I heard Arish ask in a gruffy voice whereas I hummed in reply.
He carried me to our bedroom and placed me on the bed gently. I was about to sleep when he turned the lights on.
Our room was decorated with fairy lights and flowers.
" Happy Birthday!" Arish spoke standing besides the door holding onto a cake.
He smiled as he placed the cake infront of me.
"Happy 20th Birthday!" My eyes widen. This was the suprise.
My birthday?
"You remembered ? " I asked shocked.
" Of course I do. It is your first birthday that we are celebrating together ."
"Why? It's just another date why would you want to celebrate it?"
" Because you make this date special. Dates are never special Jana. People are. You are. My wife is."
" Happy Birthday? " I spoke the two words that were never said to me in such a long time. "It's my birthday! No! It's my happy birthday !" I said excited while he chuckled.
"It is happy indeed." He said as he kissed me knocking down my senses.
I didn't curse him nor did I stop him. I simply blushed.
" I love you!" He said as he joined our foreheads.
He what?
"Cut the cake." He demanded and I followed.

Unknown PoV:
It was her birthday. I stay there as I saw the lights on of her room.
She is so close but still beyond my reach. I stand there on the balcony next to her room as I heard her shaky voice. My lips broke into a smile but then I heard his voice.
Anger surfaced my senses when he spoke ' My wife."
He married her by force. She was never meant to be his wife. Never!
And yet she is.
Why though? It wasnt supposed to be like this. Everything was going according to my plan.
'He wasn't supposed to take you away from me. Jana!' I whispered.
'Happy Birthday Jana!'
My phone rang and I picked up.
"You were right. His name is Daniyal though I doubt he has even met her." My detective spoke.
"Then it looks like you are not as good as you think you are. " I replied.
"Sorry, but how could I possibly know about this the documents were completely erased." He tried to justify his mistake.
"That was your job not mine." I hung and dialled a number.
"Start making arrangements for the task. You have three months." I ordered.
"Yes sir!" He answered.
It looks like I have to leave you alone for a while Jana but I will back soon.
