My alarm blared to 'Fancy', causing me to groan and peel my eyes open.

Breezing through my morning routine, I got ready within minutes and headed towards the kitchen for some breakfast.

"Morning, cousin. Sleep well?" I asked Esme when she walked out of her room in her pepperoni pizza pajamas.

"Morning and yes. What's for breakfast?"

"How would you like your eggs?"

"Sunny side up." She grinned.

Esme and I saw Dan and Arlo walking towards us in front if the university gate.

Esme's jaw literally touched the floor when she saw Dan smiling at her.

Dan was in a dark grey T-shirt and black denims while Arlo was in a pitch back T-shirt and black denims.

Do I have to mention that they were looking hotter than Greek gods?

After having a little chit chat, we decided to head in.

"You're Carmen Rey, right?" Dan asked.

"Um, yeah. Why do you ask?"

"You'll see." He smirked.

"Come on, Dan. Just spill it already." I urged him.

Esme and Arlo were looking at us, amused.

"Not happening." He said and ruffled my hair.

Seriously? Ruffling my hair?

Walking towards the classes took us another ten minutes and we decided to meet during lunch at Innis Cafe which wasn't far from our campus.

Standing in front of the classroom, I noticed that it was almost filled and I spotted one girl.

Just one girl.

Wait what? Just one more girl other than me? What's happening?

I tilted my head to look at Dan smirking in my direction.

"Just one more girl other than me? Seriously?" I questioned him.

"Yup. Welcome to Chemical Physics." He replied.

I shook my head and dragged him into the class and took our seats somewhere at the back.

The looks everyone was giving me was too much to take in.

The other girl was seated diagonal to me and she was busy in her own little bubble.

"Go talk to her." Dan whispered in my ear.

I sighed and nodded.

I got out of my seat and stood in front of her, ready to make a conversation.

"Hi."

She looked up and smiled at me, looking relieved.

"Hello, there. I'm Lindsey Brown." She replied.

Lindsey Brown.

Brown.

Brown.

Shit.

It immediately rang a bell in my head.

That jerk's last name was also Brown. Calvin 'the jerk' Brown.

My mind clouded with his thoughts for a second before I forced myself to brush it off.

"Carmen Rey." I introduced myself.
