Chapter 1:
I saw a girl today.
She had dull brown hair and had scars on her wrists.
Everyone passed her as if she didn’t exist.
But she did; she existed.
She was in my Social Studies class.
I said Hi.
She stared and said Hi back.
That was when I came up with a simple conclusion.
I want to know her.
