Chapter 6
People stared at my eye today.
My mom apologized for it and told me to cover it up with makeup.
But I don't have makeup, I don’t have anything.
I tried not to look for him today.
I saw him at lunch.
He was sitting at a table with many more boys.
The boys who acted immature.
He waved at me.
I didn’t wave back.
I walked home again today.
There were some guys skateboarding.
They asked if I wanted to come to the park with them.
They said we would have fun.
I said okay.
