"JENO! Jeno!" Jeno groaned upon hearing the high-pitched voice once again, he turned around to see Donghyuck with a grin on his fave. "What is it now, Hyuck?"
Before Donghyuck could say anything, Jeno interrupted, "More ice cream, some ramen, sour belts?" Donghyuck cringed upon hearing the last words. "I don't even like sour belts, it's too sour!"
Donghyuck ran towards Jeno's side, regaining his grin. "Anyways, Mark Lee is here!"
Jeno froze before rolling his eyes. "You fucking called me just to tell me that your crush was here? Oh my god Hyuck, I thought you had a boyfriend or something," jeno groaned before walking away, leaving a grinning Donghyuck behind.
He still had classes, specifically, Math. Everyone hated that subject, even Jeno, but somehow, he manages to get the top scores. At some point, he would think it's a miracle that he got into the rankings.
Donghyuck was Jeno's one and only bestfriend. The young male always stuck beside jeno since the beginning of school. And suddenly, the two got closer by time.
Jeno halted infront of the classroom. He opened the door to reveal the usual scene. A group of students would be crowding by the corner, some playing by the sides, and girls just gossiping over some hot guys or something.
Jeno ignored everyone and headed to his seat by the corner, you know, like those bad boys in cliché stories. Jeno was never interested in his class. sometimes, he wondered why Donghyuck had to be in a different section.
"Okay, students. Go to your seats." A short man entered the room, brown hair neatly arranged along with the suit he wore. He had a stick on one hand and a book on the other.
"Well, class is starting so all of you better get your Math books out." The man's name was Moon Taeil, one of Jeno's favorite teachers. Actually, he was everyone's favorite. He had a laid back personality and was always calm, overall, he was amazing.
Everyone obeyed, and just in a second, Math books were on top of everyone's desk.
Taeil's eyes slowly wandered all over the classroom, silently taking everyone's attendance. He raised a brow upon seeing an empty seat.
"Okay, what's Na Jaemin's excuse this time, Renjun?" The blonde male, Renjun, just scratched the back of his head as he smiled nervously. "uh– well.. you see—"
The door burst open, as if on cue, Jaemin steps in the classroom. His hair was extremely messed up, uniform crumpled as beads of sweat rolled from his forehead. "Sorry, my alarm clock wasn't working this morning!"
Taeil rolled his eyes before crossing his arms. "Your alarm clock is never working, Jaemin." Taeil said. "Go to your seat now."
Jaemin just nodded, and bowed to Taeil before quickly heading to his seat, which was beside Jeno.
Despite being seatmates, Jeno never had a proper interaction with Jaemin. The only interactions they had was probably only greeting eachother in the morning.
Renjun, who was infront of Jaemin, looked at him with his brows raised. "Dude, why were you really late? you know he asked me what your next excuse was, right?" he whispered to Jaemin, but Jeno had also heard it.
"Sorry, I had to take care of my father the night before. And Jaehyun thought it was the right time to visit at twelve in the morning. He visited with Taeyong, you know, his boyfriend? God, those two were so loud." Jeno sighed before looking at the two, then tapped Jaemin's shoulder to gain his attention.
The younger looked at Jeno with a brow raised. "Can you two keep it down, i don't wanna hear anything about.." Jeno paused. ".. loud people."
Jaemin cleared his throat before nodding. "Okay."
The two continued whispering to eachother as Taeil discussed infront. Fortunately, they kept their voices down. So Jeno couldn't hear them anymore.
Well, he could still hear them talking about loud people. "Dude, Jaehyun and Taeyong couldn't be any louder than Yuta and Sicheng."
Ugh. They couldn't be any louder than both of you combined.
