5 days later
I woke up instantly, hopping up out the bed excitedly, and impatiently. Today was Jahseh's court date, i had woken up late, and me and Stokeley, had a plan to get him out.
I couldn't wait to see him again. My mom told me to not wear anything too skimpy, which I don't even own anything skimpy.
I threw on some light wash denim jeans and a black long sleeved basic t shirt, with a matching light wash jean jacket to go with it. I slid on my classic black and white checkered vans, hopping to slide in to them.
I rushed to the bathroom, already having taken a shower last night, I didn't have to take one in the morning. I yanked my hair lightly out of the poorly made bun that wobbled on the top of my head.
My hair fell down to my shoulders, but looked dry and had fly aways. I put some cantu curling cream in it and ran my fingers through my hair with some water to make the outcome better.
I grabbed a tube of clear rose shine lip oil, gliding it across my lips and then rubbing my lips together. I hurried, putting mascara on my eyelashes, and then spraying some pink sugar perfume down my body. I then running out my bedroom.
I slammed the door behind me, stepping down the stairs so fast that I almost tumbled. My mom stood at the bottom waiting for me. Stokeley and Isaiah were there as well. They wanted to come badly.
I gave Stokeley and Isaiah a friendly hug, as my mom grabbed her keys and unlocked the car. I sat in the passenger seat, and Stokeley and Isaiah sat in the back seat. I already knew someone was gonna punch each other and they were gonna start fighting.

I was scared the entire time. I had never been in a court room before. There was people in the stands and they were watching us, I guess waiting for their turn or something.
The judge held a mean mug on his face, seeming as if nothing could turn his frown upside down. He just looked extremely mad. Which of course was very intimidating to me.
Once the door to the left of the judhes stand opened, my eyes shifted quickly, hoping i'd see who I was expecting.
When this tall darker man wearing a security uniform came out, holding jahseh in hand cuffs, I got chills, and felt my face turn red.
He was looking at the ground, and he didn't look up until the judge began talking, but it wasn't in my direction.
Did he know I was here ?
I frowned, and my mom seemed to notice. She rubbed my arm, trying to comfort me.
I sucked it up, and tried to remain calm. I wanted to run to him, and hug him, giving him all my attention.
but I wasn't dumb enough to do that.
Jahseh finally caught eyes with me, giving me a cute smile, then looking back down.
I swear I alnost melted.
The judge began talking, and I did what me and Stokeley had agreed on.
Weirdly, right before the judge could make a final statement, Stokeley grabbed my arm and brought me outside of the court room.
I looked at him, confused, wanting to know why he had done that.
"Why-" I asked him.
" yo mom wants me to take you home" "Um- okay" I shrugged honestly very confused at that moment.

Stokeley had gotten me burger king before taking me home. He seemed upset for some reason, and he didn't come in the house with me.
He had left after dropping me off, leaving me home alone. Zyan was at basketball practice, and Sonny was at Dina's house.
I didn't have anything to do but sit in my room and scroll through social media.
I was home alone until about 11 o clock. I hadn't heard from anyone really. My mom looked very upset as well. She simply said a weak goodnight, and walked to her room.
her reaction left me worried.
