"Come on y/n you never go out and it's just a high school lacrosse game." My best friend Rachel says looking in my closet for something to wear. She was trying to get me to go with her to her boyfriends lacrosse game "eh I don't know I don't even know any of the guys that are playing except for your man" "yeahhhh but you can get to know them after the game. We can stick around after. Maybe you can find a little man candy" she winks and smiles I giggle "come on y/n when's that last time you've even talked to a boy like that" I couldn't answer "exactly you're coming with me" I give in and get up looking for something to ware. She squeals and claps.

We finish getting ready and head to my car and drive to the school. We get to the school and head to the field. We take our seats in the front waiting for the game to start. Rachel's boyfriend Cody comes over to say hi to us. "Hey baby" he smile kissing Rachel. "Hey y/n" he says waving I smile "hey" suddenly another one of his teammates comes up from behind him jumping on him"you pumped bro" he says. He was really attractive and had the biggest brightest smile "Yo Gray this is my girlfriend Rachel and her best friend y/n" "hello Rachel" he says "and hello y/n" he says smiling looking at me a little longer. The whistle blows. "Hey we should go man" Cody says to gray "ya ya, we it was nice meeting you y/n" he smiles taking my hand and kissing it. They both run off. I felt my face turn red and I couldn't stop smiling. "Oooo I see you blushing" Rachel teases "oh shut up" I say rolling my eyes " you know Graysons a really good guy" she says I just smile and nod.
The game starts and I look out for Grayson his number was #18. I tried my best to just focus on the game but it was hard to. Grayson looked very attractive playing. Near the end of the game it was tied and last score wins I had my eye on Grayson and suddenly I see gray pop up and look straight at me and point at me. I start to blush and smile like a loser. The whistle gets blown and they start Grayson runs up and calls for the ball Cody throws it to him and gray jumps catching it and shoots it. He makes it and they call cheer and get in a huddle. Me and Rachel go to the Field And she runs to Cody jumping in his arms kissing him. I was very happy for her and the team. "Hey" I hear gray say standing in front of me "hey congrats! That was a nice shot" I giggle "it was for you." "Hmm and why is that" I say "maybeee I wanted to impress you" he smiled "did it work?" He asks "hmmm maybe....if you did a under the leg shot I think I would have been very impressed" I says jokingly. He giggles "next time" he says grinning we stand there in silence for a bit. "Y/n would you like to have lunch with me tomorrow?" He says nervously "I would love that" I smile putting a pice of hair behind my ear. "Okay" he smiles really big "does 1:30 sound good?" He says "yeah that would work" we exchange number. "Well I should get going now" he says "okay" he leans in for a hug and I hug him.
"I'm sorry I'm all sweaty" he says feeling awkward "it's fine" I giggle "okay...bye" he smiles doing a little backwards jog. I just wave and smile. "What was that all about!" Rachel says nudging me "wellll I may or may not have a lunch date tomorrow" I say smiling she squeals "seee I told you. You can thank me for forcing you to come" I just giggle and roll my eyes "whateverrrr" I laugh"you can call me the best best friend in the whole universe" she says "no" I say giggling. We all walk to the car. The whole car ride I could stop thinking about Grayson and our date tmr.
