"Anything else?" I ask the couple at the table ordering. I go back and put the order in. I wait in the bar area for another customer.
I was talking to another coworker when a group of boys walk in
Laughing at something.
Ugh another group of teen boys I hope they aren't assholes.
*ding*
I go to the back the get the food. I walk of to the table passing the boys.
"Ooo Damn" I hear as I walk by
Grate.
I place the food down and I felt someone starring at me. I look to my left and see one of the boys looking at me.
I just look away putting down the drinks. I walk up to the table
"Hello I'm y/n I'll be your waitress " I say. I still feel the boys eyes on me.
That all start to order and I write it all down.
"Are you on the menu?" One boys asks I just roll my eyes
"Jake why do you have to be such a dick" the boy that was looking at me says
"Aw shut up Ethan I know you were thinking the same thing"
"I'll come back when you guys are ready" I say walking away
"No it's fine we're ready. Sorry" Ethan says
He says his order and hands me his menu. He lightly smiles at me sorta like an apology smile.
I smile back and go put the order in.
The bell rings. I walk to the table and place all the food down.
"Thank you" Ethan says smiling
"No problem" I say and walk away.
A couple minutes later I see all of them getting up and head out the door. Ethan stayed at the booth a little longer.
When he got up he walked towards me.
"Hey I just wanted to apologize for earlier. Jack just has no filter." He laughs a little. I giggle.
"It's fine" I smile he smiles back
"Okay. We'll see you soon hopefully" he smiles walking backwards and out the door.
I was a little confused on what he said about seeing me soon.
I go the the table to clean it up I take the check and see a little note on it. It was a number with Ethan's name.
'Call me sometime:)?'
I smile at the little note and put it in my pocket.
