A very good looking (H/C) haired woman was drinking in the sea air. The sea breeze gave life to the white sails of the young woman's ship. The crew was bustling around the ship working hard at keeping the royal ship in working order. The (H/C) haired woman looked out to the sea with her (E/C) eyes burning with passion. How she loved the sea. At sea she felt free; she did not need to worry about her royal duties or anything. Here all the sailors are her friends and they don't treat her any different than they do each other.
"Princess (F/N), we really should not be out in the sea. We should be back at the palace figuring out which man you will be marrying." A bright orange haired man said. (F/N) sighed quietly to herself before turning her attention to the man.
"Oh lighten up, Seijuro. We are out at sea let us enjoy it!" (F/N) yelled as she began to climb down from the mast and was greeted by her dog. "Hey, (Y/D/N), you love the sea just as much as I do huh?" (Y/D/N) let out a loud bark of agreement to his/her mistress as (F/N) petted her. (Y/D/N)'s (C/C) fur was so soft against her hands.
"Princess (F/N), we really need to find a husband for you. How will you rule the kingdom without one?" (F/N) rolled her eyes at her caretaker's antics. She knew Seijuro truly cares for her, but all the princes just did not sit right with her. They were not what she was looking for; she wanted someone who was kind, thoughtful, and would always be there for her, cheering her on. She needed that if she was going to rule the city of Iwatobi right. "Let's go over the princes you have met. . ."
"Ugh. Prince Momotarou was too rambunctious. He was clingy to me and was groping my chest, so I don't want him as my groom. Prince Makoto was way too clumsy, and he's always tripping over his own feet, not to mention he kept stepping on my feet as we waltzed with one another. Prince Ashi was vicious. He was always getting mad over the littlest of things which I thought was ridiculous." She said, still petting (Y/D/N). Seijuro let out an exasperated sigh. At this rate she is going to effectively eliminate every prince from being her husband. Seijuro thought.
"Why don't you stop thinking about that husband problem and watch the sea! She is mighty fine today isn't she, Princess (F/N)?" One of the sailors said to (F/N) trying to save her from the complicated world of political marriages. "The Sea King must be in a friendly mood today."
"Sea King? What are you talking about, Seto?" (F/N) asked looking up at the young looking blonde haired man with curiosity in her eyes. "Yeah, the Sea King, ruler of the merpeople, thought every good sailor knew about him." Seto said with almost a smirk on his face. Seijuro shook his head.
"Don't pay attention to this nautical nonsense, Princess (F/N)." Seijuro said with a hint of superiority in his tone. Seto glared at the man before continuing his story of the Sea King. "The Sea King lives in the fathoms below in the ocean where he and his children live with all the merfolk. He controls the sea using his triton."
"Triton? What is that?" (F/N) asked. Seto opened his mouth to explain it but was cut off by another sailor who wore an orange bandanna. "A triton is a mystical scepter that looks like a fork, but has the power over the ocean." The sailor answered. Seto nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, Narancia, for your explanation." (F/N) said as she turned to look at the ocean with new found admiration. I wonder what it is like fathoms below in the ocean.
Quick A/N: (Y/D/N) and (C/C) mean your dog's name and coat color. So if you happen to be curious, here's your answer.
