The door is going to shatter in about 29.5 seconds. I know from experience how long it takes for teachers to get reinforcements. About a minute ago, the teacher arrived, banging on the door, and a minute before that Claryssa got a frog leaping onto her humongous bun of insanely black locks, winning an ear splitting scream from the girl. Claryssa is pretty, everyone knows that, but she doesn't have to act like a complete princess. It's just a flipping frog for heavens sake! I can't believe that she survived through the entirety of last year. That was Mia's victory year, when every animal kept in a cage was released, and they made their way to Mia's room, which unfortunately, was Claryssa's room as well. That year was amazing, apart from the fact that I was the only person without a partner.

Partners are an essential part of this school. They have an important role in keeping their other safe. I got used to being lonely, of course. You aren't supposed to get a chance to get used to it though! I should've been happy and safe last year. I should've been able to do something last year. They look after you and help you with your problems and get to share a room and everything, which can be annoying. But the best thing about partners is that they become your best friend. And this year is going to be different.

This year is the year when I get a partner, and not just any partner, but according to the headmister, a powerful one. It's been pretty lonely, and since I'm not that good at making new friends, it will be a nice opportunity to have someone to talk to. I do not want anyone like Claryssa though. Mia, Chloe and Alex Gold, the famous triplets, and me, poor, little, lonely Neal are going on the bus to meet my partner when the bus picks them up. We don't want the new kid to feel lonely on their first day. I hope my partners another guy.
