I'm being punished for thinking I could be so lucky. My partner is a girl. At least I can have someone who cares whether I get angry or not. That is what girls do isn't it? Chloe and Mia are excited. They probably think that they're going to get to enslave the poor girl and make her their best friend. I crane my neck to see out of the windows that are up to high. All I can see is that her planet is full of grey and blue colours. How extraordinarily boring. Alex pushes me off the seat and suddenly I am staring through the window at the prettiest girl that could ever exist in any world. I am so glad that I came today.
She looks up at the bus and I quickly duck down under the window. "Happy with your partner are you?" Alex sneers, "Actually you would probably be happy with anyone." Alex is so obnoxious like that sometimes. It's like she thinks that she rules the world. She probably will in the future. The new girl is taking a long time to show her face on the bus. I hope we aren't going somewhere else and she was just lucky to be here at this time. I hope she is really my partner. The rain that seemed to be floating as a grey cloud suddenly gave way and came pouring down. I stood up again to see the girl and also to get a glimpse at the rain. My planet never rained. In fact, we never had any weather at all. But it has snowed once or twice at school.
