"Hey stranger! Didn't see you in a while huh? How have you been?" William chirps as soon as he spots me in the parking lot. His jet black hair were pulled back neatly and he was wearing a yellow shirt with blue jeans. He flashed my favourite smile and I beamed with happiness. I gave him a side hug and we walk towards the reception to gather our schedule for the week.
"I've been a little busy lately. You know, after dad, I have to look after most of the things. Mom's busy with college. She tries to act normal, indulges herself in college stuff, but deep down she's broken. She and dad had been together since high school you know." I sigh and looked at William. I find pity in his eyes which is disgusting. I never wanted people around me to pity me or have sympathy for me. Just because I lost my father doesn't mean I need warm hugs and sympathetic looks from students around me.
Before William could say anything I quickly distract him. "And I even finished reading the twilight series. Don't judge me but before reading the novels I watched the movies. It took me two days to complete the twilight Marathon."
Yes!! It worked! He clapped his hands together and exclaimed, " finally I have someone with whom I can discuss about my favourite novels!I must say, you read the whole series in a month. It took me nearly two years to finish reading the series alone."
We talked about his visit to his grandparents, his sky diving experience, his girlfriend Nicole. I was glad that the conversation didn't involve how I was holding up.
We reached the reception and gathered our schedule. I had my first period in Sociology and he had Spanish. We both had the fifth period together in Biology.
He walked me to my classroom I waved him and went inside. I found that I was not the first one to enter the classroom. I frowned because I'm not in the habit of being on number two. I always had the passion of being the first in everything. Well, not EVERYTHING but the academics and sports.
Who is this guy? I've never seen him before and WHY IS HE SITTING ON MY SEAT?! My cheeks flushed with anger.
His back was towards me and I was unable to see his face but even with his back towards me, i could tell that he had sharp features and his torso was large. He wore a thin white shirt and the tattoos beneath his white shirt were visible. His black hair were messy and time to time he ran his hand in his hair. He held a poetry book in his hands and was reading it. He was deep in reading because he didn't notice me entering the classroom.
I composed myself and slowly walked towards him. I stopped nearly a foot away from him.
"Umm..... excuse me, mind if I sit here. I usually sit here so can you please move somewhere else. There are lots of empty seats." I tried to sound nice but I guess my anger made it sound like a complete sarcasm.
He neither responded nor looked up, but quickly closed the book so that I was unable to see what he was reading but I saw it before he could hide it. It was Tranquility. I had read it couple of times and it send chills down my spine everytime I read it.
"Didn't you hear me?!" This time i was louder.
He quickly turned towards me and all I could do was gasp.
