It turned out, Tamika had no reason to worry about her father. News of Colonel Nicholas Fury's death spread like wildfire a few weeks later.
She couldn't tell how Dennis felt about the news since he avoided answering anymore of her questions. Oddly, he seemed even more nervous than ever, though Fury and the file were gone. Meanwhile, Erik stopped disappearing for weeks or receiving mysterious phone calls that pulled him away at odd hours. Conveniently the robbers also suddenly disappeared without a trace, calming the tensions around the campus.
After he finally allowed her into his space, Tamika found herself wanting Erik around more and more. And Erik didn't seem to mind so much either. Though neither would admit it, in actuality they couldn't get enough of each other. So by the end of the next several months and as summer approached, they had practically moved in together, spending most nights in either one or both apartments. Christening every available surface with their love making.

She found herself becoming lost in him, and everyday it became harder and harder to keep her alter ego and her nightly activities from him. So when she caught him watching her intensely as if he was trying to see right through her skin at all of the secrets hidden inside of her head, she tried to chalk it up to paranoia. Surprisingly or maybe not so surprisingly, Erik loved shows like the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Power. Plenty of drama and violence. In particular he got into the more dramatic episodes where someone either died badly or completely fucked up their entire life. If Tamika dared to watch without him, he'd make her watch it again. Then he'd ply her with weed and alcohol until she was so fucked up and horny he could have her anyway he wanted her.
