Tamika recovered from the procedure with record speed. She tried to be happy about the return of function to her legs, especially for Jamil. He was delighted that his mom could now run and play with him.  But in reality she would give it all back to have Erik with them again. He came to her in her dreams at night like promised.  He slipped into her bed and made love to her, attempting to mimic his old form and mannerisms as much as possible but this was no substitution for the old Erik.  Her Erik. Dreams weren't real life.  And she missed having him with her in real life. It made waking up to live out the days even harder. But she had to for Jamil.

She was now doing yoga ever morning. This is where Jamil found her as he ran from breakfast in the palace dining hall. "Mommy!! Mommy!! Time to go see Daddy!!"

"Yea ok baby." Tamika stood up feeling extremely wary. This would be their first time outside the palace. Shuri had left the spinal prosthetic in place containing Wildstreak's armor as she corrected her paralysis. It functioned to make her even quicker and more agile even without the armor activated.  And Tamika planned to go straight Wildstreak on anyone who dared look sideways at her kid today.

She instructed Jamil to put on the clothes that she laid out for him and then went to take her shower. It was a Wakandan style very similar to the clothes his dad once wore. Tamika also wore a wakandan styled shirt and pants.  They met Shuri out in one of the smaller hover crafts used to travel through the city. She was dressed formally like the Queen of Wakanda but she wore her black panther necklace around her neck.

They had to pass through the area of the legendary Black Order battlefield to get to the valley. The only sign of that day and those who vanished at the end of it was at the center of a small lagoon on the southeastern border of the large Savannah. The battle was easily tilted in the favor of the Avengers with Storm on the battlefield. Between her and Thor's appearance with storm-breaker, the alien creatures and Thanos henchmen were outmatched. But this quickly shifted once Thanos appeared with his gauntlet that day. He managed to trap Ororo inside of a time loop at the center of the lagoon, in order to turn the tide of the battle back in his favor. Knowing how her brother felt about Ororo, Shuri called upon multiple practitioners of magic to try and break the time loop. But none had succeeded. Dr Strange vanished with the snap and there was no one else in this dimension who could preform the type of powerful magic needed to overcome the time stones prison. So a large whirlpool now sat at the center of the lagoon where the weather goddess was imprisoned indefinitely in a millisecond time loop which made her look as though she was asleep.

They passed by the lagoon and into the gapping mouth of Serpent Valley. The mist was completely gone. The lush vibrant valley completely opened to the rest of the country. If it weren't for the dangerous creatures who roamed this place, more Wakandans would have come to explore and exploit an area so shaped and molded by raw vibranium.

Jamil looked excitedly through the windows of the small hovercraft at the vibrant beauty of the countryside. "This is Daddy's place?!?"

"Sure." Tamika smiled down at her thrilled son as the hovercraft landed near the cliffs. Then she looked over at Shuri. "Are you sure this is safe?"
