"What do you think about this one?"

"Adam you just showed me that. I told you i don't like the colour."

"It's brown. Who doesn't like brown?" he frowned.

"Me."

"Alright what about this." he showed me a black and white stroller.

"I like that one since it goes well with the carseat." i rolled my eyes at him.

"Whatever." he spoke while finding the exact stroller that's already in a box. Meanwhile, i was looking at some baby bags. "What we have left on the list." he stood with the large box.

"Uhmm.... Just clothes."

"Alright. Now that we got the big stuff out the way, let's check out."

"Wait. Do you like this, or this?" i held up a blue and white bag and a black and white one.

"Get em both. And get that orange and brown one."

"You're obsessed with brown aren't you." i tilted my head and looked at him.

"My woman is chocolate. Chocolate is brown. So yes, i love brown." he pecked my lips before walking away.

I picked up the three bags and followed him to checkout. While he went to put the items in the car he bought earlier, i went into a baby store to shop for clothes for our baby. Adam thought it would be safe to buy a Honda CR-V this mornimg before i wake up, and surprised me with it. It's mainly for Addonis since my car wasn't 'safe enough'.

We were shopping eversince 8 this morning and still not finish. I was tired, my feet were hurting me and i was hungry but i had to finish the task. We got everything for his room already and some extra appliance, kitchen utencils and furniture for the house.

Adam went to the extent to make a list of every single thing he needed, last night when i was sleeping. We bought half of it already and was getting through the next half.

"This is cute. 'Worlds greatest daddy'." Adam smiled, holding up a red and white onesie.

"You should get it."

"I should get one of everything in here." he looked around.

"Orrr, we can get whatever we like, and go to another store."

"Fine. My pick first."

"Sure."

"It wasn't a question." he walked away from me. I smacked my lips and went to sit. Pulling out my phone, i realise that i got a text from Reece and Anya. He was asking me about the homework we got 2 days ago so i told him I'll send him a photo when i got home, while Anya was telling me about the business industry and how it actually works.

Reece was my classmate and a good friend to me. He's gay and i was the only person that accepts him for who he is apart from his mom. Anya and i however, met at a rnb concert i went to before thanksgiving. She invited me out to eat pizza or at random lunch dates whenever she doesn't have to work. She was 23. Anya told me she liked me because of the personality i had and she thought i was about her age. She was really good to me. She even invited me to her family's thanksgiving.

"I'm done."

I looked up and saw Adam with 3 large bags.

"Adam i didn't say the whole store." i stood.

"It's not. It's just half of it. And i even got some bottles and pacifer."

"Very funny. I'm picking next."

"No problem."

We left the store and i went somewhere else. I picked up some necessary products i knew i was gonna need for Addonis, based on a registry as well as more clothes and blankets. I ended up leaving with about 6 bags, in addition to what Adam had before.

"What else do we need?" he ask while starting the car.

"That's pretty much it. All we have to do is wash his clothes, put them up and set everything in place for him.

"Don't forget packing a baby bag." he beemed.

I rest my elbows on the door and place my head in hand, looking at him with a smile.

"You're excited arent you?" i ask.

"You wouldn't know the half of it." he switched the car off. "It's like... a miracle. This is something I've always wanted Serenity. And you made it happen for me. I've been trying to have a baby for years now and you made it happen for me. In addition to that, i fell in love with you. No one loves me the way you do and I'm super appreciative of that." he spoke, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. "I'm sorry." he chuckled to hide the fact that he wanted to cry.

"It's okay. You can cry." i told him. "It's okay to cry." i held his hands and he looked at me. "I'm happy to be apart of this. Apart of you."

"I just...." he sniffled. "Thank you." he reached over to hug me.

"You're welcome." i mumbled.

"I uhm..." he pulled away and i used my thumb to wipe his tears. "I bought something for you." he searched his pocket and pulled out a ring.

"Adam you know i do-"

"I know. I'll never force anything on you. But i bought this because i know you love accessories and i want you to wear it everyday when I'm gone. Never forget about me. Please."

"I won't Adam. I can't forget about you. You played a huge role in my life. I can't forget the person that's molding me to be the best."

"Thank you." he handed me the ring. It was a simple diamond ring and it was kinda heavy so i put it in my purse until it was time to wear it.

He started the car again before pulling out of the parking lot. While he drove, he was holding onto my hand while i was eating some gummy worms.

"You want to go to a restaurant and eat dinner?"

"I'm not dressed."

"Yes you are." he looked at me then at the road.

I was wearing a black leather longsleeve dress that was knee length and a pair of white knee high boots.

"Okay well yeah."

"So extra."

"It's not extra. I just like to look good."

"I know baby."

We went to Drawl Southern Cookhouse to eat dinner because i know Adam was just lazy enough to cook anything.

When we got home, i took a shower and went straight to bed. While i would try to sleep, i heard Adam telling me that 'i purposely left all the work on him but it's okay'. He ended up irritating me in my sleep before he actually left me alone.
