"Mrs. Johnson are we still on for the opening of Corey Hannaway's Food truck business?" i spoke as i had just sprinted to catch up to my principal.

"I've told you yes a million times Ms. Moore." she groaned and turned to look at me. "The only reason i gave you the go ahead is because i love burgers and you're very convincing. Now can you leave me alone? Im late for a meeting." she walked off and i frowned.

I know i always said i hated her but she was really cool. Miserable but cool. Eversince Corey ask me to help him financially, he haven't stop thanking me. He told me he didnt have any support but i went to the extreme to get Mrs. Johnson to allow him to sell in the school yard. She shut down the cafeteria for a whole week just to accommodate Corey's business. We had a meeting and after he was done persuading her, i didnt think she was convinced enough so i threw in a couple more words and she agreed but of course there has to be a condition.

I had to get my grades up before this month and since we were in a new year and i was in the 11th grade now, i was more focused, not because of Corey but because of Adam. I was still motivated by him. I had applied to 8 colleges including Yale and Harvard and i was psyched because if my team win the finals thats taking place at the stadium this coming season, i might get a scholarship and at that time, i will know what colleges accepted me.

Heading back to class, i got a text from Corey telling me that he was nervous. I knew he was outside finishing minor stuff and i couldn't leave the class so i sent him a text of advice.

Meanwhile, i was listening to the teacher while watching the time. We had 25 minutes left until class was finished. Corey had the full support he needs because him, Reese and i did a campaign last year before the Christmas break telling everyone about this and since i was... popular now, i know everyone will come out.

When class was finish, i hurriedly went out to the front of the school yard seeing a crowd at the food truck. I leaned against the wall and watched how he was taking orders and serving at the same time. He had one of his friends to help him make the sandwiches so he wasn't alone.

After an hour, lunch break was up but there were still students coming back for more, even teachers. As i was about to head inside, i heard a few car doors closing and turned around, seeing a few business person and police officers.

"What the heck." I whispered and made my way to the food truck.

"What's going on here?" The officer ask.

"A food truck sale for students and teachers." Corey answered. I knew he was nervous because he was slightly swaying his body.

"Do you have a license?"

"And a permit sir." He pointed to the wall of the truck.

"What kind of sandwiches are these?" A lady ask while looking at the menu.

"Vegan and meat sandwiches. Depending on your choice you can have whatever you desire."

"I think I'll try one of these vegan burgers."

"But ma'am we were suppose to shut it down." The officer whispered to her.

"If it's not good, then we will." She whispered back.

Corey served her the burger and she took a bite from it. She slowed her chewing and look at her other co-workers.

"Oh this is good." She gushed. "Cindy call some of our friends down here. This is really good." She pulled out the money from her pocket and handed it to Corey.
