Standing in my red and black gear with black shoes and socks, i caught my hair in a ponytail and place my hands on my hips, catching my breath as sweat ran down my face. I heard them cheering for my team as Sierra had just scored, before they gathered where i was. We were playing against Kelvyn Park high and the scores were 3:1.

It's been two months and a few days since i gave birth and i had to say, this was the happiest I've ever been. I ended up paying my sisters tuition fee and while they were happy and thankful about it, Hope was not. She told me she was thankful however her attitude stated otherwise. It didn't bother me because they couldn't say i wasn't helpful towards them. Though she kept asking me where i got the money from, i didn't give her an answer because it wasn't her business.

Adam, Addonis and i were happy and i try to make him as happy as can be because, well... we know why. He's been taking his medications and injections, as well as going to all of his chemotherapy appointments and i try to give him healthy food however i would allow him one cheat day where he could get any junk food for that day. It was usually on a Friday like today.

Apart from that, I've joined my school's soccer team as a defender and I've scored an awfully amount of times. If not me, then it's Sierra or Leone. My coach even consider making Sierra captain of the team and she deserved it. I have major support by Adam and our baby and that was what kept me going. He came to all of my games and even if he was late, he was here. Charity even flew out to attend two of my games and i couldn't ask for anything more than that.

"Listen girls, this is the final game of the season and i trust that you will win this one. If we advance to next season, there will definitely be a scholarship for your university career. Are you in this?!"

"Yes coach!"

"Are. We. In. This?!!"

"Yes coach!!!" we yelled louder.

"All in." She said and we huddle in a cirlce, putting our hands on top of each other's. "On three. One. Two. Three."

"Bogan!!!!" we yelled and took our place on the field.

"Let's go Serenity!!" I heard Adam yelled. I looked around and he had the whole stands cheering me on. I blushed and waved just as the whistle blowed.

The game began and we started to play. I got pushed down at least twice while passing the ball and trying to shoot. We were now twenty minutes in the game and Sierra just passed the ball back to me. I passed it to Dahlia and ran towards the opposing team.

I was sending a signal to Dahlia, telling her that i was open but instead, she passed it to Sierra who wasn't open.

"What the hell?" I stood their and sure enough, Leone had the same look of confusion on her face.

Alex caught the ball and was making her way to me, soon, she kicked it and i jumped, allowing the ball to hit my head and it fell on the floor. I heard cheering as i juggled to ball near my opposing team and this was the part of the game i dreaded most. To score.

I exhaled before kicking the ball with force, in hopes that it went in the net and not the the goalkeeper's glove.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck." I bit my lips and looked at the time, seeing we had none left. I watched the ball and luckily, it went in the net.

I exhaled in happiness as my team were now gathered around me, taking the win that we got. I was being congratulated.

I looked around and saw Adam and his friend standing there with Don, a smile was on his face.
