If I were you I would look away from the horrible and horrifying events that comprise this ghastly new chapter in the Baudelaires' unfortunate lives. So look away before it is too late.

"In a few minutes you will be meeting your new guardian, Dr Montgomery. He's your closest living relative and apparently should have been your guardian all along. I'm beginning to think it was a mistake to listen to that oddly dressed consultant who walked into my office with no reference and no identification and who suggested I place you in Count Olaf's care." Mr Poe said.

"My siblings and I wholeheartedly agree" Violet said as she and her siblings thought of how stupid even if kind-hearted Mr Poe is.
Sunny shrieked "Yo dis profs" which probably meant "you're a disgrace to your profession."

"Mr Poe" Camille asked hopeful "Would you mind if I play my harmonica I haven't been able to play it in a long time after the last loathsome and eery circumstances."

"Of course not" Mr Poe differing of Mrs Poe. "I love the harmonica, I wish I had learned to play it when I was a child like you" he finished quiet sad.
Camille smiled widely, she was finally going to be able to play again. She started playing and along with her Violet, Klaus and Sunny were happy in a long time.

The playful melody also distracted them from the strong smell of horseradish near Dr Montgomery's house: Lousy Lane, which is near to a horseradish factory.

The car finally pulled over in the driveway of the big house next to some shrubs in form of different snakes that were quite frightening at first.
Mr Poe rang the doorbell next to the dark oak door and a man with a singular mustache came out.

"Hello hello hello" he said stepping forward to the children. "You must be the Baudelaires. Well this is perfect timing because I've had just finished frosting this delicious coconut cake" he said handing a piece to each of the children.

Dr. Montgomery was quite tall but shorter than Count Olaf, he wasn't thin like him either and he had two eyebrows like any normal person would, he was wearing a maroon-ish shirt and his hair was messy but not greasy as Count Olaf's all self.

"Nice to meet you Dr Montgomery" Violet said.

"Please, call me Monty" he said referring to all of them. "I don't like fancy titles unless they get me a discount at the movies."

"Do you like the movies" he asked again.

"Very much, but our parents didn't take us very often" Camille said this time.

"And what's your favorite movie?" he asked excited.

"Dawn Patrol. The 1938 version" Klaus answered.

"It was your father's favorite too" he said with saddened look on his face.

"Well dont stand there. Come on in!" He exclaimed.

The Baudelaire entered the wide living room and were amazed by how many related to snakes things Monty had, pictures, sculptures, figures...
Monty was almost impolite to Mr Poe and practically threw him out, and then excused to the children.

"Sorry if I was harsh with him, but he gets on my scales. He says 'unpleasantness with Count Olaf when he was the very reason you were put with Count Olaf in the first place."

"I guess you're right Dr. Montgomery." Violet said.

"Monty" he said to the children. "And I hope Uncle Monty when you get use to me." He ended smiling.

"Umm, Monty But our parents never mentioned you" Klaus said uncomfortable.

"Really? Never? Dr Montgomery Montgomery?"
