Jack G's POV

"Are you okay?" I asked as Hazel threw herself into my arms.

"No. Not at all," she mumbled into my chest. "Can we talk?"

I nodded and led her to my bed. As we sat she let out all of her tears. I pulled her into my arms again and we sat like that for a while.

I stroked her faded hair as her cries slowed. Once she had calmed down, I started to talk.

"Who do I have to hurt for hurting you?" She smiled a bit.

"No one. It's partly my fault."

"Well, what happened?"

"Shawn kind of confessed his feelings for me through song. I told him I couldn't love him the way he loves. I told him I really care about him. He kissed me and, at first, I didn't pull away. I felt terrible right after though and apologized for leading him on. Them I ran here," she said quickly.

I sat for moment, processing everything she said.

"Well, I think you did the right thing by telling him you couldn't feel the same. But why did you kiss him?"

"I don't know! I'm an idiot! I just ruin every relationship that forms. I can't believe I was so stupid!" she spat.

"No you don't! You're just confused," I tried to console her.

"What should I do? What about Sammy?"

"You should go talk to him. He needs to know. This should just be bump for you if you guys really love each other. I know you guys do." She nodded her head and gave me another hug.

"Thanks, Jack. For everything."

"No problem," I said as the door closed behind her.

Well, this is gonna be a mess...
