"Holy crap, that's the last box" I say putting the last of my boxes into Luke's living room.
"You're moved in!" He says. I laugh and walk closer to him.
"This is insane! Just two days ago I was still in my old house."
"And this little bugger wants dinner" Harlow says holding Shay.
"Yup it's in the microwave right now" I grab Shay from her arms.
"Daddy is gonna feed you while mommy goes to fight and have a meeting with Elvis" I kiss her cheek and kiss Luke's as well. I pick up my gym bag and my keys.
"What I don't get a kiss?!" Harlow says.
"Come here!" She runs up the stairs away from me.
"Lucas I'm ordering pizza!!" She yells.
"That's not my name!"
"It is now!" I laugh and head out the door.

"Hey Elvis" I say wrapping up my hands.
"Hey, so I have someone I want you too meet" he sits in front of me and helps me with the wrap.
"Holy shit Meghan Anderson"
"Hey, I've heard a lot about you" she says. She's already sweaty and has her hands wrapped.
"Nice to meet you I used to watch you when I was younger"
"Thank thanks" she says. I stand once Elvis was done.
"She's gonna get in the ring with you"
"Oh Fuck yes!" I say. I'm super excited to get in the ring with a real UFC fighter in my category. I hop up into the ring and get ready to fight.
"I have two rules. Don't go easy, beast mode only" She says. I nod and get into my stance.

"Wow, you have power" she says as we exit the ring.
"What can I say, I watched the greatest fighters growing up"
"How did you get into MMA?" She asks.
"My dad used to watch it. It was kinda the only thing we did together. I was a trouble kid ever since my mom died. But  we always made sure to watch the fights. I would always make sure to be sober when we did."
"Drugs?" I nod.
"Mostly weed. My dad travelled a lot and my mom died so I was by myself a lot and fell in with the wrong crowd."
"Wow"
"Ya I've learned to control myself. In the ring I can let all my anger go. I used to have a blackout temper as a kid but I now have so much control I channel it into the ring."
"That's great. Keep it up. I've never had a fight like that"
"Thanks Meghan!" She exits the gym and I'm by myself.
"Hey kiddo, you good?"
"Ya...ya I'm good"
"What's up?" Elvis asks sitting on the bench next to me.
"No ones ever really asked how I got into MMA."
"So tell me about it"
"Well I was sick one night. I was 7 or 8 and I laid on the couch with my dad. He had a fight on. I don't remember who, it was two men. But ever since I watched fights with him. When my mom died it was the only thing we had in common. And then he died...."
"It's almost been a year." I nod.
"I wish he could see me now."
"He can see you. He's looking down on you right now. He's gonna see you get into the same ring as your favourites and he's gonna smile so big his teeth are gonna fall out" he laughs.
"Thank you Elvis. You're like a second dad to me. I'd hug you but I'm sweaty." I laugh.
"Agh hug me anyways" I give him a hug and he stands up.
"Now get a shower, and come to my office we have some stuff to discuss" he walks away. I quickly get into the shower room and wash my hair and body. I check my phone as I get dressed. It's only 7:40. I pack everything into my bag and go to Elvis' office.
"Hey Dellie have a seat."
"So have you booked me a fight yet?"
"Oh yea, October 3rd" he says smiling. My face lights up and my smile is from ear to ear.
"Also" he adds.
"I've been in contact with Greg Jackson." My mouth drops.
"I've sent him some videos of you and I just sent him the video of this fight. He wants to train you for a little bit"
"Oh my god"
"But Greg isn't the guy to come here, he's not one to have someone fly out for a week. If you're going he wants you for a month"
"Uhm wow"
"All through September, I think his training would be good for you but he knows you have a family. He wants to hear your answer from you" he passes me his card.
"Let me know ok?" I nod.
"I will. I'll see you tomorrow maybe." I walk out the door. I head back home to see my baby, my best friend and my boyfriend. To share this huge news.
