TRY HARD

Chapter 23

I open my car door and head inside with the food I picked up for lunch. I open the door to see Luke sitting with Shay on the couch watching cartoons.
"How did it go?" He asks.
"It went great actually it'll be up tomorrow" I give him the food and call down Harlow.
"What do you do up there all day?" I ask.
"Mostly write songs" she says grabbing her food.
"You write songs?" Luke asks giving Shay a piece of a fry.
"Ya, I don't do anything with them I don't like singing. She'll sing some of them for me though" she says referring to me. I laugh hesitantly.
"Ok why didn't you tell me you sing?!" Luke says.
"I don't. I- Uhm. Say words in a songy way" I say trying to be sassy.
"Oh I'm going to hear you sing and it's gonna be fucking amazing." I laugh and shrug it off. We all start eating and laughing at the studios cartoons on the tv Shay seems so interested in.
"Luke can you show her the surprise!?" Harlow says. I give them weird looks as I throw out all the empty food containers. He grabs Shay and my hand and brings me upstairs. He leads me down the hall to my studio. It houses all of my drawings. Clothes drawings for designers, modelling stuff and regular old doodles. He looks at me.
"Ready?"
"What is daddy up to?" I ask Shay. She sticks her fingers in her mouth.
"Tapepapal" she mumbles.
"Did you just say tape?" I furrow my brows at Luke as he opens the door to reveal my once plain white studio. It's now covered in all of my little doodles. The biggest one is plastered above my desk. Luke, Shay and I. All as one big happy family.

"Oh my god Luke" I say covering my mouth.
"Harlow showed me that one and I wanted to plaster it everywhere!" He says looking at it.
"I drew it because I missed you so much. I did it off of memory." I say almost tearing up.
"So I'm gonna take her. And we'll hang out while you two can do whatever you want. Just remember she's to young to be a big sister" Harlow says taking Shaylin.
"I'm not putting my vagina through that again!" I yell at her.
"Grab that rose and pose I'm gonna post this" he says. I do as I'm told and he takes the picture.
"Can I tag you pleaseee"
"My account is still private"
"Cmon your red table talk is coming out and it will clear everything up"
"fine" we head downstairs so I can get my phone to set my account as public. He posts the pictures and sits on the couch. I put my legs on either side of him and kiss him. He places his hands on my ass. The kissing becomes making out. My hands wander around his curly luscious locks and his softly caress my butt, hips and lower back.
"Ok well we were gonna go play downstairs so you can have upstairs to yourself but I see you'd rather get busy on the couch.....That we all sit on" she heads downstairs with the baby.
"Let's go continue in my room then" I grab his hand and drag him upstairs
"Nah babe, you're definitely not the dom in this relationship" he puts his hands on my chest and pushes me onto the bed. I'm not complaining.

There's a knock on the door.
"ILL GET IT" I hear Harlow yell. We're just laying on the bed together.
"UHUH" I hear. I look at Luke
"Get dressed the boys are here" I stand and put on some clothes.
"How do you know that?" Luke asks laughing.
"I heard Shay go "Uhuh" and that's what she calls uncle." Luke laughs and we make our way down stairs.
"Did you have fun?" Michael says. He's laughing. Crystal puts down Shay and she's crawls over to Mike, putting her hands in the air for him to pick her up.
"Hey baby" he says in a babyish voice.
"So what are y'all doing?" I ask
"We want to go on a trip, Luke is finally happy again and we want to go to maybe Bali or something to celebrate our favourite people coming back together." Ashton says. I smile and look at Luke.
"I think we should do it, take Shay and Har of course" he replies.
"Hell yeah I'm up for a vacation. Haven't been on one in..well. I don't think I've ever gone on vacation" she says.
"No you came with me to a water park when we were six"
"But not a real vacation, like fly some where." She says.
"Then I haven't either" I say.
"Well I just booked us a trip to Bali" Calum says.
"NO WAY! But I can't afford it..." Harlow says.
"Don't worry about it" All four boys say
"I could kiss you!" She adds, Calum blushes. He notices me looking at him.
"I'm going to the washroom" he says.
"But when?!" Ashton says.
"Two days, be ready we leave at 10" he says.
"Uhuhuhuhuh" Shay says. Michael laughs.
"Wait do we get to post our surprise we're godparents posts yet?"  Crystal asks
"Ya seriously I have so many cute pictures with her and can't post em" Calum says coming back.
"Ya cmonnnn" Ashton says.
"My Instagram is private suckers" Harlow says.
"Yes yes you guys can post them"

Everyone posts their photos and we hang out for the rest of the night. Talking about the trip, and what were gonna do.
