Foresaken. | FelixXreader! [PART 2]

Finishing your duties early was a privilege that came rarely, and you being you, decided to go find Kimbal to see if you could provide any assistance to any parts of the new republic.

Strolling through the new republic has became a norm for you. The past months have been rough, worrying about how the other half of the reds and blues were doing at the Federal Army of Chorus. Nights have been harder to fall asleep to, but with Felix by your side, it made it so much more easier. You and Felix have been playing it for months now, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the both of you ended up together. Felix and you were perfect soulmates, even everyone in the new republic knew about the juicy information. Some of them even called bets on whether the two of you would end up together, bringing the hype for both of you to finally come out even more exciting. The only person that was wary of Felix was tucker, and when tucker found out about you and Felix.. let's just say that he wasn't too happy about it.

The voice that broke you from thought was distant, yet so clear. You wanted to run into the room and scare the living shit out of him, but something kept you from doing it- the tone of his voice. You sneaked into the room where you saw Felix talking to someone other the holographic screen. The tone in his voice sounded serious, something that you have never heard from him before. Instead of the calming nature that he has tricked everyone in believing that he was a genuine person, his voice was hostile and rude.

"Felix, you have to cut your crap and carry on with the mission." The other side of the screen sounded calm but fierce.

"What is with you and the mission?" Felix frustratedly threw his hands up. "I'm not only doing this for the paycheck. I'm doing this to give myself satisfaction. Cut me some slack and let me have fun."

"If we don't comply to the plan, things may go somewhere not to our liking." The voice at the other side calmly replied with a constant hostility in his voice.

"Locus, for god sake, you are really starting to piss me off, war machine."

"Locus..?" You abruptly voiced in, causing Felix to turn over immediately.

"I need to go." Felix said as he frantically searched for the button to end the transmitter.

You stared at a panicked Felix, trying to process whatever you heard. He was talking to Locus- the mercenary at the Federal Army of Chorus? It took you so much effort to even look him in the eye, the person that was there for you when to needed it, the person with that calming nature, was it all a lie?

Felix stumbled towards you, trying to cup his hands on your face but you pushed it away. You saw his heart break in his eyes as he frantically tried to earn you back.

"[Y/N], I can explain-"

"Explain what Felix?" You angrily snapped. "You are talking to Locus at the end of that line, how are you suppose to explain that? And what mission?"
