Melody's POV
"I just don't know what to do with him. I love him with all of my heart but he's slowly but surely killing himself." I ranted to Yunggoth and watched baby Gus play.
"I know. You just want the best for him, as do I but sometimes he just have to make him learn the hard way." He shrugged.
"By letting him kill himself?"
"No but maybe if you take a break from being around him it'll give him a good dose of reality." He assured.
"But I have nowhere to stay. Bexey's gone back to London, Wiggy's in LA shooting something with horsehead, Coldhart and Smokeasac are working together and either way I'm not as close to them." I explained.
"Stay with me. I mean, it'd be easier. I can lure Gus out of the house to give you time to get stuff for the baby." He suggested.
"Yea. But that baby has a name." I chuckled.
"Yea but that's confusing. Saying I can lure Gus out so you can get stuff for Gus?" He shook his head.
"That's why we call him baby Gus. Besides, if I knew this shit would happen, I wouldn't have named him Gus." I crossed my arms.
So Yunggoth distracted Gus by taking him somewhere and I went back to get the essential things that me and baby Gus need.
I got his clothes, my clothes, his crib, his blanket, his bottle, and I went back upstairs with Gus in my arms and made sure I had everything.
"Wait, Gus! I'll get what you need! What'd you leave?" I heard Yunggoth say.
Shit.
It was clear what was happening.
Gus left something and came back to get it but it's to late.
What do I do?
Well I have to try and hide.
I hid in the closet with baby Gus in my arms.
Gus's footsteps and him shuffling around to get what he needed swarmed my mind and I started getting a panic attack.
The more I started to shake and quietly cry, it started making baby Gus cry and babies cry loudly obviously.
It was dead silent.
Everything stopped.
Every single little noise that was happening was just not there anymore.
Then the closet slammed open and Gus saw me.
"Oh of course! This is why Yunggoth didn't want me to come back because you're here." He shook his head.
"Peep... please don't hurt me... I have baby Gus and I -"
He slapped me and I started screaming, making baby Gus start scream crying.
"Let go of me please." I set baby Gus down in the closet as I laid on the ground.
Gus started beating me so hard, it felt like I couldn't breathe anymore.
"Goth! Please!" I cried.
"Let go of her!" Goth started beating the shit out of Gus.
"Dude. What the hell?" Gus looked shocked after Goth stopped.
"You can't beat her up! She was getting her stuff! She shouldn't have to be afraid to be in the same house as you." Goth shook his head.
"I'm sorry." Gus started crying.
"Don't you think it's a bit to late to say sorry? She had to threaten you to get out of the house earlier!" He yelled.
I grabbed baby Gus and held him in my arms.
Goth helped me up and we went to the car.
