Callum's POV:
"Daddy! Daddy, look at me!" I quickly stood up, nervous as my baby was at the top of a high up slide.
I only took my eyes off of him for a minute, and he zoomed to a spot he knows I wouldn't let him go to.
"Baby, you know you're not supposed to be up there!" I quickly walked towards the slide, about to climb up it. I used a stern voice and gave him my best daddy look, knowing he was in deep little space.
"You can't catch mes daddy!" He then started to run towards the slide, and jumped, sliding down. It would've been a smooth slide, other than him hitting his head on the way.
A second later I hear wailing, and I quickly ran to him, scooping him up in my arms. Note to self, never take him to this park again, too dangerous.
"Aww shh, it's ok baby, daddy's here it's ok." I rocked him back and fourth, kissing his head.
It took a while for him to calm down, and when he did I set him down gently. He looked down at his feet, knowing he did what he wasn't supposed to.
"Baby.." He looked up at me, and started to cry again.
"I sowwy daddy! I did bad! I did bad! I was bad boy!" He hugged me tightly, crying into my shirt. I rubbed his back, and gently pulled him away.
"You really scared me baby, please don't do that again ok?" He nodded, wiping his eyes.
"I sowwy daddy.." I picked him up, and kissed his cheek.
"It's ok baby, I'm glad you didn't get really hurt." He put his head on my shoulder, still sniffling a bit.
"How about this," he lifted his head and looked at me. "How about we go get some ice cream, and then we can go to the mall and you can pick out a toy and some outfits hm?"
He smiled wide and nodded his head.
"Use words baby."
"Tank you daddy! Ish gonna be funs!" I could tell he slipped a little bit further into little space and I chuckled.
I set him down and offered my hand, he quickly grabbed it and we started walking to the ice cream parlor. It wasn't a long walk, and it would help get some of his hyper- ness out anyways.
As we were walking he seemed deep in thought and his face went dark. I could see his eyes get teary, and he stopped right in his tracks.
"What's wrong baby?" He pointed in front of him to a man, this particular man was wearing an all white suit. I know who it reminded him of.
"Hey baby, it's ok, that's not him. It's ok." He started shaking as the man started walking closer. The man looked nothing like the scum that hurt my baby, but it was a close enough resemblance of attire to scare him.
"Hey, baby it's ok." I pulled him to the side of the side walk, holding him close. I knew he wouldn't walk until the white suited man passed.
The dressed up man was on his phone, not even paying attention, but when he passed us he gave us a friendly smile. The universal hello when you pass someone on the street.
This set little Theo off. He was shaking uncontrollably, and I moved my hand down to his bottom to pick him up, when I realized he was wet. He wet himself. He started crying, and I quickly tried to console him.
