Callum's POV:I went back to the apartment after waiting for a couple of hours. He was probably sleeping or playing with his stuffies or something.
I unlocked the door and it was eerily quiet. He probably was just sleeping. I went to the fridge and got a bottle of water, chugging half of it before putting it back into the fridge.
"Angel?" I got no answer sobI went to the bedroom. I opened the door to see no one was there. I looked in the bathroom.. nope. The laundry room? Nope. I looked in every nook and cranny that I could.
I ran out of the house. Where else could he be. He couldn't have gone too far right? He could just be at the park, yeah that seems logical.
I ran to the park and he wasn't there. Kids were running around with their parents, and teenagers were sitting on the bench drinking Starbucks and texting. No sign of my baby though.
I went to the ice cream shop where we had our first date, not there. I ran to all the small shops in the area, not there.
I ran back to the park, hoping that maybe I didn't see him or something. He still wasn't there though.
I took out my phone and started dialling my friends phone numbers.
"Hey Tell the others to look for Theo. He's not at the house, the park anywhere."
I hung up and ran back to the mall. Exhausted, I sat on the bench. Where the hell could he be? He has to be somewhere in this town.
I looked around in the mall and asked security guards if they saw Theo. No one has seen him and I couldn't find him in any of the stores.
Where else could he be? He couldn't have gone back to his parents right? If he did they would immediately either shut the door in his face or... send him to boarding school. Shit.
I ran back to the park, and tried to remember where my angels house was. He was in a small neighbor hood and he lived at the end of a cul de sac.
123... 123 Gold...Goldman... way? Yeah! 123 Goldman Way. I got up from the bench I was sitting on and ran to my angels house. Please be there, please be there.
From all the running I'm doing I could win a marathon right now. I was sweaty, and I'm pretty sure I looked like a total mess by the time I got to his house.
I put my hands on my knees for a second, waiting to catch my breath before knocking on the door. I noticed their car wasn't here, hopefully their still home. Maybe one of the parents are out.
Knock knock knock
"Oh, who is it! I'm watching my soaps!" I heard a woman's voice yell. She sounded very irritated, she sounded like she needed a Thai massage pronto.
The door opened to reveal a short woman that looked a bit like Theo. This must me the mother for sure.
"May I help you?" She looked me up and down, I could see what Theo meant by judgemental. She was probably judging by how sweaty I was. I felt a drop of sweat drip down my forehead, but I quickly wiped it. Well this is one way to meet the mother.
"Um, do you happen to know where Theo is?" She scoffed at what I said. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Yes I do, and why do you need to know?" I scratched the back of my head. She surely wouldn't tell me if I told her I'm the one that her son ran off to.
"Um, we have a project for school that's due soon. I was wondering if we could work on it." Good one.
"Sorry sweetie but he will no longer be going to your school. He's now attending the top boarding school in France. He's probably boarding the plane as we speak." I felt my heart stop. This can't be happening.
"And what would be the name of this school?" I clenched my jaw, trying not to explode with anger at this excuse of a mother.
"Why would you need to know that?" She eyed me suspiciously.
"Just wondering." I looked her in the eyes, and I guess she took it as a challenge because she kept glaring at me, not even blinking.
"Who are you really? Because I know Theodore and he refuses to do projects with others." I bit my lip, not knowing what to say now.
"Wait here please." She closed the door and she came back minutes later with what looked to be Theo's phone. She scrolled through something and looked up at me with an expecting face.
I looked at her confused until my phone rang. I looked down at my phone and saw that is said 'Angel'. I looked at her and smiled awkwardly.
"Nice try, leave my property before I call the police... NOW!" She slammed the door in my face and I quickly left.
'Guys meet me at my place, I know where Theo is.'
I sent out the text and ran back to my place. I've been doing too much running today.
By the time I got there everyone else was already on my couch waiting. I plopped down on my couch to catch my breath.
"You look like shit."
"Shut up." I flicked off my best friend Peter.
"So Tell us.. where is he?" I took in a deep breath. My heart still felt like it was shrivelling up, and breaking into pieces. It might also be the mass amount of running I did too.
"His parents sent him to some boarding school in France." They looked at me surprised.
"Ok, what boarding school? Let's go and get him." That's where the problem was.
"All the mom told me was that it was the top boarding school in France before she shut the door in my face because she found out who I was." The guys chuckled and I glared at them.
"Well what are we gonna do then?" I walked over to my laptop and searched 'top boarding school in France'. Multiple websites came up.
"Well just think what type of school they would send them to. They're Christian Right? So rule out all of the non Christian schools." That still left about five other schools.
"All the Christian schools are either all boys or all girls so we can rule out the girl ones." That left two.
I clicked on the first one, and clicked on students. I scrolled for what seemed like forever. No sign of my baby. What if they haven't put him up on the website yet?
I opened the second school page and clicked on their students. This school had higher ratings. All of the students looked the same. Their hair was slicked back, and none of them smiled in their pictures. Part of me hoped my baby wasn't in this school, it must be miserable.
I scrolled down and down, starting to give up until I saw one name with no picture.
'Theodore Alder'
"I found him! I found him!" I clicked on the school address, writing it down.
"Well boys, looks like I'm catching the next flight to France."
