Callum up top^^

It was the end of the day and I'm waiting for the little cutie to meet me. I told him to meet at the big willow tree on the top of the hill in the back of the school.

After a while I got to thinking, was I too straight forward with him? Does he even like me? Would it be too soon to ask him to be mine? Yeah way too soon right?

"C-Callum?" I looked down and saw the little blonde haired boy that has been occupying my mind.

I then realised I never asked his name. I don't think I've ever seen him before either, he looks like a freshman.

"Hey, I'm sorry I never asked your name?"

"O-Oh it's Theo." I nodded my head and smiled.

"Cute name for an adorable boy." He looked down, blushing.

"So, Theo what grade are you in?"

"Junior year." He looked much younger, he has such a cute baby face.

"Oh? Then why are you in so many senior classes?" He was in a lot of classes that juniors usually wouldn't be in, so maybe he skipped a grade?

"Oh, I skipped a grade." Knew it.

"Ah, cute and smart." He looked down again.

"Y-You really do know how to make someone as red as a fire truck." I chuckled, and ruffled his hair. He was awkward yet cute.

"S-So where are we going?" Oh shit, I didn't think about that. Nice going Callum, ask the guy to meet you to do something but don't have anything planned.

"U-Umm, How about... Ice cream! And we can chat and get to know each other more." He smiled.

"Ice cream? Really?!" He looked genuinely exited, his eyes got 10x bigger I swear.

"I've never seen someone so exited for ice cream before." He was basically jumping up and down.

"I love ice cream! Let's go let's go!" I laughed and we started walking to my car, he is so cute I can't get over it.

"Woah, you have such a nice car!" I smiled and opened the door for him.

"Thank you, saved up for it myself. It was a big ol' hunk of junk before I started working on it." He looked at me with wide eyes.

"You know how to fix cars?" I nodded my head, closing his door and running around to the other side to get in.

"Of course, my father taught me before he passed away." It got quiet, and awkward all of a sudden.

"I'm so so sorry about that." I shrugged.

"Hey, I like to think of it this way. Instead of crying and being sad about someone's passing, I celebrate what time we did have together. I celebrate their life." He nodded and smiled up at me.

"That's an amazing way to think about things." I smiled and pulled out of the school.

"Always gotta look at the positives, or you'll spend your whole life looking at the negatives."

Theo's POV:

"Welcome to "Cherry On Top" What can I get for you?" A cheery woman in her mid twenties looked at us expectantly.

"I'll get the espresso flavor please." I crunched up my face at his choice.

"I'll get mint chocolate chip please." Mint chocolate chip was the ultimate flavor, next to cookie dough of course.
