Chapter 7

Michaela and Sully get ready for bed and put Katie in her crib. Michaela buttons up her nightgown and sits on her and Sully's bed.

Sully takes off his shirt and rubs his wife's feet. Michaela was so beautiful to him and he loved everything about her. He thought of when Katie was born by that old oak tree.

"Sully? Something hold the baby up?"

"I think it's choking!"

"What color is its head?"

"Red, no pink."

"Its not choking. Its not choking. Stick your hands and help it out! Get two clamps and cut the chord and it will come out."

He did as he was told and the little baby comes out.

"It's a girl!" He said.

Sully thought of the day Michaela told him she had a miscarriage. He hugged and held her close before he took off on his own. He walked as far as he feet would take him.  He sat down by a tree and wept and screaming into the sky. He then looked down to find a little tree uprooted. He wiped his face and took his knife out to dig a hole and plant the tree.

"What are you thinking about Sully?" Michaela says as she looks into his icy blue eyes.

"About our babies. We're having two babies. I thought of Katie being born and that day you went with me surveying and hit your head. We sat in that cabin and talked and we talked about having another child. " He says.

She smiles as him as he begins kissing her legs.

"I laugh at the fact that we did some loving that night in a random cabin in the forest. I love you Sully. Can you get my stethoscope out of my bag?"

"I love you. I'll get it for you." He says.

Michaela listens for the both of the babies heartbeats and lets Sully listen.

"One baby is up here near the top of my stomach and the other is at the bottom. I'm thinking we're having two boys."

"I think we're having a boy and a girl.
We have one boy name and one one girl name. "

"I though of another girl name. It wss inspired by Josie's gift. Lilly Josephine Sully." Michaela says.

"I love it. I thought of Michael Daniel Sully. I'm just so happy to have you healthy and two blessings coming. " He says as he listens to the twins heartbeats.

"Lilly and Byron are are primary names if that's alright with you. I just wanted to tell you thank you for everything you've been doing these past few days. I was gonna cry at dinner, not just because I'm hormonal but because I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful husband to be my best friend and father to our children. Good night Sully."

Sully kisses her belly and kisses her lips and says "Good night Michaela."

Josie sits at the table with Isaac to begin his school work.

"Write your name neater Isaac Harvey."

"But Mama! I don't want to!"

"Isaac. Mama asked you to do something and if you don't do it you're gonna not be able to play later."

The little boy begins to pout as he begins to get out of his chair.

"Isaac Timothy Blake Harvey. You're gonna have to sit in time out if you don't stop pouting and finish your work."
