Good Times

After about 2 days more of being stuck in the hospital, I never figured out what I should do. No one had come to get me, so I had to hail a taxi. Before I left another nurse under the name Sydni had given me a notebook to write down what I wanted to say. Good thing I wrote in a neat way.

I simply told the man to take me back to the sac. No one I knew would be there, I was assured. After all of us grew up, well... The parents all moved on to other places as well. It was now going to be knocked down and made a part of the junkyard.

'.....Rolfs......Jonnys.....Nazz....Jimmys....Ed's....Eddys...." Even if most of them weren't my friends, they hadn't known me to a high level, but they all were so dear. No matter what, we could go to each other. I stopped.

Kevin's house. I remember high school and I would go over, and we would lay with each other. I smiled lightly. I walked up the walkway to the door. The knob had rusted, but I just needed to see if the door was open, even if It was covered with germs. I reached for it, and the knob turned.

Opening the door, the place really didn't look as empty as I thought. But that was fine. I could re-live memory's. The good ones. I walked into the living room. We had our first date here.

'Oh goodness I don't know what I'm doing...' I thought. I walked up the porch and knocked 3 times.

"Oh well, I guess Kevin's not home at the moment." I turned to leave. 

"Wait for double do-... Wait for Edd." I turned to see Kevin. Oh, he looked so cute.

"Greetings Kevin. Um... So what will we be doing to occupy ourselves for the night?"

"Well I figured we could just stay here, and you know.. Watch movies." He seemed really uneasy about me over. I wonder if he is ok?

"That sounds great Kevin. Might I come in?"

"Oh yeah yeah." He stepped aside and allowed me to go in. Of course, I said thanks while I walked in and took off my shoes.

Kevin led me to the living room where two plates with cheese pizza and two cups of coca-cola were set. I chuckled lightly.

"Kevin you didn't need to go through the trouble." I turned to face him. His face was slightly red and I had to hold back from chuckling.

"Yes, I do Edd. I..." He grunted and stepped towards me, taking my hand. "I really like you double Dee... I want to make this good."

I guess it was my time to blush because I pulled my hand back, just to pull my hat over my eyes. "Kevin you don't need to try hard."

I felt arms wrap around my body. "Heh, cute."

When he pulled away he took my hand and we both sat down on the couch. For the rest of the night we watched movies, and talked. By the end of the night i was exhausted. The clock on the wall read 11:00. My parents weren't home, and I wasn't really wanting to return to a empty home.

Kevin was still talking about something. I leaned my head on his shoulder. He took a sharp inhale.

"Thanks for tonight Kevin.... I really enjoyed it." After that my eyes began to close. I couldn't hear what Kevin had said. I was asleep by then.

I smiled. My hand trailed along the couch. It was pretty late, maybe I could find a blanket. I mean, everything else was still here. I walk around and looked for a blanket, and a pillow. I eventually found one, but in Kevin's old room. I felt butterflies in my stomach. This was where we made love.
