"So are you ok Edd? You don't seem like yourself today." I froze in my seat. We were still parked in the school parking lot. Everyone else had already left for lunch. I didn't know what to say or how to say it. It was not something simple. It is not like I could say, 'hey I was just thinking about how the other Kevin had abused Eddward. So like I was wondering if you would ever like mentally abuse me? I mean I know you're not him but it is still something I think about. Gosh, why am I a fucking dumbass? Of course, Pumpkin wouldn't do that! What am I thinking? I-"

"Edd?" I felt a hand rest on my arm, I looked over at Pumpkin and noticed his face. He was extremely worried. I don't blame him. I was acting...strange. I smiled at him and covered his hand with mine. Then I simply turned away and turned on my car. Driving away to our usual food place.

Much to say, Pumpkin didn't eat. He mostly poked at me asking me what was wrong, and of course, I just told him I wasn't feeling well. Which was not a lie. Just a stretched truth. I would talk to him later about it. After all, we both still had a half day of school.

I drove back to the school and parked in my parking spot. "Edd, you can't hide it from me. Something is wrong, tell me! Did you see something again? Is he showing up more? Is it your job? Wait no, you usually tell me when your job frustrates you... Oh, Eddward is it me? Did I do something?" I looked over at him with a surprised look.

"Pumpkin, you haven't done anything wrong. I promise. It's just... There is something on my mind but I don't want to talk about it now. Not now." I leaned over and pulled him to my chest. "There is nothing wrong with you. You're perfect."

Pumpkin wrapped his arms around me, and he rested his head on my shoulder. "I am here whenever you want to talk about it. Ok?" I nodded against his shoulder and pulled away as the school bell rang.

We both calmly got out of the car and proceeded to class.
