Alyssas POV

I got into the car. I saw Andy sigh and shake his head before closing the door. I know I am right to not trust Juliet. Right? I shook my head. At least I wasn't too rude.

Hopefully...

To get my mind off of things, I turned on the radio. I switched it to the country station. I wasn't in the rock mood. So, Honeybee by Blake Shelton blasted through the car.

You'll be my soft and sweet

I'll be your strong and steady

You be my glass of wine

I'll be your shot of whiskey

You be my sunny day

I'll be your shade tree

You be my honey suckle

I'll be your honey bee

I sang along to every word as I was on my way to Allison's. Then my phone began ringing. It was Voodoo by Ghost Town. Chloe.

Without hesitation, I answered the phone and began to pull over. I will not risk getting a ticket. That shit is too expensive.

"Hello" I greeted, hoping nothing was wrong.

"They sent me home" She sniffled.

So soon? Why is she crying? Oh god...

"Whats wrong?" I sat up, shutting off the music so I could hear better.

"How fast can you get here?" Chloe began to cry.

"I'm on my way" I continued. "Just relax. I should be there in about 5 minutes"

"Okay" She took a deep breath.

"Bye" I hung up and made a U-Turn.

I didn't bother with turning the music back on. I hurried to Chloe's. I kept thinking the worst possible scenarios as I drove.

What if Vic tried to come back? What if Velvet talked to Chloe? What if she tried to kill herself again?

After that question, I stepped on the gas harder.

She can't do it again. How the hell could the doctors think she was ready to go home? She wasn't ready. She isn't ready. She shouldn't be.

I pulled into her driveway. Loud music blared from inside the house. I wasn't able to understand it with the screaming and all. I walked up to the door. She gave everyone she trust keys.

I guess Velvet will be returning hers.

I unlocked the door and let myself in. The music immediately shut off and all I heard was sobbing. I followed the sound with my heart pounding out of my chest. It sounded like it was coming from the downstairs bathroom.

Oh god.

I ran as fast as I could to get there. I didn't bother speaking because I know that she hears me. Her house is small but has a lot of turns. I thought I would never get to her. I thought I would be too late.

I turned another corner.

This damn house is like a maze. Good thing I'm familiar with it.

I made a final turn to get to the bathroom. Light was shining through it and the door was cracked. I stopped in my tracks, instantly getting worried. I took and deep breath before going in.
