The States! (Aph)

      Parker wasn't having a good day or week or month. It had been exactly one month since he got in his own twin killed.

     He hasn't gone outside in so long his hair was starting to turn back to its original color, brown, but the ends of it's still bright red little and bits of the bleached parts peeling through.

     Parker hated feeling bad but he knew he would have to go downstairs and face the music eventually. It didn't help that his dad will make it a big deal.  He heard Whispers from outside his door, according to the Whispers they had found the new new North Dakota. Parker should not be happy about that. He would screw up again. He hated North Dakota for taking Parker away. He  hated South Dakota ,Himself, for taking Allison away. He's pretty sure he'll hate whoever takes the name next.

Zachary wasn't sure what to feel. He can't remember much though according to the blond man there's nothing to remember. One minute he was never in existence, Next thing ya know he's alive and laying in the grass taking heavy breathes. He wondered around for a bit, did whatever felt right and before he knew it there was a blond man coming down the Forrest path.

I wonder what that is. He looks like me..but different for sure. Why do I....know him..? Weird feelings. Should I talk to him? Wait what's talking? What's a language? How do I talk? Do I already know how? What if I--

"HEY"

The teenage looking kid looked towards the voice. The blond man

"What are you doing out here?"

The teen tried to find words but did he even know how..

" Are you okay?..wait can you speak?"

He took a moment and thought about it.
"..I..I duno?"
" Whats your name kid?"
"I duno."
" Do..do you know me?"
"I...think so?"

Then he was whisked away it was weird. Learning everything was easier than he thought. By the time they got to the house he already had a grasp on the basics.

   "So...." America broke the silence " What do you want your name to be?"

"Uhm I duno.."

" How about something cool like uh.....Ev-No there's already an Evan..Mic-no...Josh? No that doesn't sound right..Zachary? Yeah i don't think there's a Zach yet, Hoe bout it?"

The new state tested the word out.
"..Z.Zach-ary? Zachary..I like it!

America called ahead to some of the others. He told to gather everyone in the living room to introduce Zachary. When they got up to the steps Texas, Pennsylvania, and Florida were waiting outside for them. They were approaching  the doorsteps. As they approached they heard a bit of their conversation.

"All I'm saying is if you train a dog to play mine craft why not teach it to be a you-tuber?"

"Those are completely different levels of knowledge Florida."

"Yeah dude, after mine-craft you gotta start something easier next, like Animal Crossing or A Mario Game."

"Texas. No. No a dog can't play animal crossing."

" Why not Penn?"

" Because- Oh Dads' back."

She said that last part a little somber. It's never easy when a state dies, even if they do come back. She then signaled to the boys that they were here.

"Hey kids."America started." This is Zachary, the new personification of North Dakota. Hey go on these are some of your siblings." He patted Zach on the back to encourage him. 

"Uhm...H-Hello. I'm Zachary." Pennsylvania stepped forward to speak first.

" Hi Zach. I'm Pennsylvania, But you can call me Grace okay?" She motioned to the other boys behind her. Florida went first.

" Hey there! I'm Florida, But call me Quinn!"

"Howdy, I'm Texas, You can call me Jesse or ya-know Jose if yer fancy."

America spoke up " Hey kids can you three take him up to meet everyone else. I want to speak to Parker and have them meet rivalry okay?" 

All three nodded and said in unison " You got it pops!"
